Used to love going to the location in San Antonio. Unfortunately, no matter how I order, I'm constantly having to have my sandwiches remade because they don't read the minor alterations.

First time eating at Cheba Hut. This is a new location off 380 in McKinney. I came in for an early lunch. There were just a few people there. Place has a funky stoner vibe as you would expect. It has tables as well as a bar you can sit at. You order at the front counter and they bring out your food. I went with a popular sandwich the Kali Mist. It has roast turkey, bacon, chipotle mayo, jalapeños, avocado, cheese, pickle and their special sauce Shake and House dressing. I skipped the tomato onion. I got the medium size on white bread. The toasting of the sandwich makes a big difference. The flavor combinations were unique and worked very well together. Sandwich was a good size and reasonably affordable. I usually do Jersey Mikes for a quick sandwich. I’m going to need to try a few more from Cheba and if they are as good as the Kali Mist, I might have a new favorite quick sandwich stop. Definitely hit these folks up. Puff…Puff..Give.

The sandwiches were stuffed well with meat and veggies, the bread was fresh, the menu is extensive, and the app is easy to use.

Visiting from out of state (several states away) and heard all the rave about this place. Went one night about 30 mins to close and got our sandwiches approx 20-25 mins later. My pregnancy cravings hit and I figure why not go one last time before we leave? Arrive before close (approx 30 mins) to order one sandwich and they tell me “sorry we’re closed”. Maybe it’s my pregnancy hormones talking but I find it kind of absurd that they don’t service until the actual closing time. If that’s normal practice I’d request that the kitchen closing time or orders to be received by x time be posted so we don’t waste our time in future- especially with such limited accessibility to this franchise. Anyways, here’s my PSA- go at least 1-1.5 hour before close of you want some yummy sandwiches.

This place is fantastic! I am not a bread person normally but everything I ate here was amazing. We ordered the Kali Mist, 5-0, and the garlic bread. Plus they have a bar and I got a $5.00 beer to eat with my lunch! Plus the staff was very kind and attentive. We will be back!
