salsa is spectacular. We just had beef fajitas off the lunch menu. They were seasoned well, but had quite a lot of onion. Service was spot on, they were on the ball and worked together for a great lunch experience.

Stopped in for an early lunch. They are located in a strip center just off Stacy Rd. The place they are in was a pretty good burger place before. It sits 50 or so with a small outdoor patio and bar as soon as you walk in. It had just opened for the day so it was not busy at all. Server was very friendly and always close by if needed. I decided to go with the steak fajita nachos. They give you free chips and salsa to get started. Both are good and above average. Nachos came out quickly and it’s a good portion size. They come with sour cream, pico, and guacamole. The nachos are individually constructed. I prefer just a big pile of nachos where each bite is different. These were still better than average. I wasn’t blown away by them, but still happy. As mentioned there was plenty on the plate. These are not on the lunch menu so you pay dinner prices at $17.50. Overall it’s a good neighborhood place with very friendly service and above average food. I could see coming back although there are a ton of TexMex options within a few miles.

Fairly new Mexican restaurant in a strip mall. This is part of a small chain. Food and service are great. Prices are fair. Atmosphere is lacking at this restaurant. Recommend.

Went in for 1st time during lunch. My wife had Chiquita's tacos (beef) & I had Abuelita's Street tacos. Food was tasty and right amount for lunch. I enjoyed Charro/bean soup option over refried beans. Server-Jeziel was attentive and courteous! Salsa was good, not watered down with too much tomato sauce or over spicy. Will be back.

Moved to dallas from the houston area about 2 years ago. The first thing I noticed is theres alot of terrible and i mean terrible Tex-Mex. This place though…this place is perfect. The service is always spectacular and the food always tastes made to order(if its microwaved at all i sure cant tell). Some of the best queso you can find and the mixed drinks always do the trick for my fiance. They are so good that I one time was craving something i had back home which wasnt on the menu here so i described it to my waiter and all he said was i got you. Dish came out just as i remembered and i knew this place was going to be a staple on our restaurant rotation. I recommend chepas to everyone i know. Do yourself a favor and try this place
