I am so disappointed that the classic nachos was taken off the menu, they were so very unique to chillies and the main reason me and my son would come to chillies over other choices. I know it probably sounds petty but we have really lost our want to go to chillies, not because of the choice to get rid of them but because it was literally the most important reason we went.

I normally have great time at chilis, not this time. When we arrived our waiter Brenda started off by nicely asking my white male friend for his choice of drink then ‘nodded’ at me and my friends (All three of us Hispanic) to order our drinks. Once the drinks arrived she again nicely asked our male white friend for his order then nodded at us once again for our orders. Another thing to mention is her constantly refilling our white friend’s drink and passing by us multiple times to refill one of ours. Once two of the four of us were done with our food she took up the plates of the ones that were done as-well as mine even though I still had some food on my plate, this extremely frustrated me. When it was time to pay she allowed our white friend to pay himself but when it came to my friends paying she payed for them. I’ve never heard of this. Ever. She only allowed them to pick their tip. I am extremely disappointed in our service, this however does not apply to the other great workers at this establishment, I hope they handle this quickly as I love this location and hope to visit again and leave with a better experience.

I recently moved here to texas and had my first Chilis meal a couple months ago and I loved it. Which has influenced me to eat quite a lot of Chilis. But recently, today 3 of my friends and I just visited this restaurant. Myself and two of my friends are all hispanic, and the other friend is White. (Important to the story). On this certain day I had quite a bad experience to be fair. Our waiter Brenda, for a lack of better words, was passively aggressively racist. From minor things such as not responding to our “small talk” or “thank yous” from the 3 of us that are hispanic. One of our friends is white, and our waiter seemed to be quite polite to him and not at all to us. Plus I had agreed to pay for one of my hispanic friends, so once the bill came I mentioned that to our waiter, and she took my card and took the liberty to pay on the machine herself (which I have never had happened before so I found it kinda wierd), But our Waiter made me pay twice, so my meal first then my friends meal, instead of just joining them together, and once the “Tip” screen came on for BOTH the orders, our waiter moved the machine to me both those times and basically implied that I Tip twice. Which I did because I know what its like to be in the restaurant buisness and how important tips can mean to ones earnings, (which I now sort of regret tipping 20% both times). So yeah I have really enjoyed chilis prior to this experience today, but this experience just really dissappointed me and what my thoughts of Chilis was.

My wings were old. They were extremely dry. The southwest egg rolls were barely warm. I’m not sure what happened because my food is normally great! Not this time so I’ll probably give chilis a break from a while.

Food was pretty good. The Service however was not. I(white passing middle eastern, yes this matters), and 3 other friends(hispanic) from the Collin College down the road came here between classes to eat lunch. We were served by Brenda, an older white lady who is rather passive aggressive and racist. She would ignore my friends who would say please or thank you, would wait after passing them multiple times to refill their drinks, and make zero effort to give them even semi decent service, but would immediately be courteous with me, say thank you, and would immediately refill my drinks for me before they were empty. Towards the ends, she grabbed the plate of unfinished food from one of my friends while he was still eating, but left my plate which still had food on it aswell, and then stood there and watched while everyone payed, but when it came to my turn to pay, she did not pay attention to me or my payment. I asked another server about any potential racist servers(without naming our server) and he immediately said our servers name. Me and my buddies have been here to this location multiple times and have never experienced such an encounter before. I dont think this experience necessarily reflects this location, but I really hope that the situation is dealt with swiftly and accorsingly. And I hope Brenda can open her heart in the future to accept people as people, and stop looking skin deep before judging them.

I had the BEST experience at this location! Specifically because of the young bar tender Makayla! She was so helpful and fast with getting our drinks to us. The drinks were so delicious and she even recommended my new favorite drink. 10/10 service!!
I've been a huge patron of chilis for the past year. Been to many locations in the DFW and this one was the probably the worse. I brought my mother because she and I love chilis. They brought the wrong chicken sandwich and all they had to do was add the missing ingredients to the sandwich. After 10-15 minutes of waiting we just asked it to go. When we received the check it was not itemized and the amount seemed wrong. And of course the screen to pay ourselves is not working so the server had to take our card to finalize the payment. After paying and recalculating in the parking lot we went back inside and asked for an itemized check. They charged us for an extra sandwich. They then asked if we wanted to the amount taken off?? No duh??! No manager ever came out to talk to us. And now we have to wait to see if it will be credited back to the card. Horrible management. Will not be returning to this location.
