Collin County Courthouse

Don't have court in Roaches. He's very biased towards women. He doesn't let you submit evidence and never lets your witnesses testify. He's a horrible judge. He yelled at a man telling him if he gets in trouble with another court in a different county he's going to have the man arrested. Just watch out he's in favor of certain lawyers too. Judge Roach needs to be investigated and removed from his position

Plenty of parking. Inside is beautiful. I was here for jury duty. I was surprised at how organized everything was. All the staff are very friendly.

Judge Edgeworth is fair, just, and genuinely embodies the principle that courts should be accessible, impartial, and equitable for people of all ethnicities, backgrounds, religions, and identities. Judge Edgeworth's recognition of the significance of my dowry in court made me feel acknowledged and valued as a member of society. I am grateful that Judge Edgeworth was presiding over my case and made an effort to equally hear both sides, while allowing for the cultural and religious significance of my marriage to also be heard.

Public Service is great, but the inconvenience of building repairs makes visiting the courthouse uncomfortable. Seems like there hasn’t been too much progress on repairs over the past year during my multiple visits.

The legal library is never any help. Same 2 white women chatting with each other every single time you go in for help...6 times in total. They continue to give you the incorrect forms that a judge is supposed to complete not the person asking for the petition. Its like they get paid to pretend to know things that they obviously don't. Look at the form they claim im supposed to fill out...seriously this clearly is for the judge to complete 🙄

Everything run smooth as long the people working there are not having a bad day fast go in and out

Wonderful courthouse , with onsite library, friendly staff.ita huge with 8 court rooms and Grand jury. Aptly located North texas in heart of McKinney

Parking lot has scarcity of shade and is very spread out, be prepared to walk in the heat.
Don't bring your pocketknife or your vape with you because those can't go through security.
Most offices close early.
Nice looking and quite large building.

Sadly this county has a failing system. We visited to get answers on how to get a record expunged. We spent 2 hours at the courthouse in just about 4 different departments because everyone just passed the buck. They nickel and dime you for items at the library that they advertise has “free legal resources.” You walk in hopeful and walk out tearful, hopeless and felt like you just wasted your time. The justice system is warped. They act like they have all these resources but then no one can act on it. I would be ashamed to work here. Out of the 7 employees we interacted with, only one tried to help the best they could.
