We are regular customers at the Corral and normally have a great experience and top food. This experience was ruined by a very indifferent server. We will continue to frequent the Corral, but this experience would not have been a good impression for a first-time visitor.
We went for seafood night. The recipe for the clam chowder has changed and isn't quite as good as it was last year. However, the fish more than made up for it. Huge portions and the best fish I've had in years. I can do without hush puppies but someone else likes them so they weren't wasted. The wait staff was attentive without hovering. It was an enjoyable dinner experience. Too bad the acoustics in the Grill are so bad that it's hard to hear what the others...
Roy and I had the weekend special which was a bone in pork chop. It was very, very good and large enough for us to share along with a little salad. Veronica was our waitress and she is my favorite. She is always smiling and I watched her multitask around the room. I've never been disappointed in a meal at the corral Grill.
