Perfectly average fast food barbecue. The negative reviews I see are delusional people expecting Hutchins or Goldees at McDonald’s prices. Dickey’s is drive thru BBQ, manage your expectations people.

i ordered 4, 2 meat plates and a sandwich , i get back to work and we are missing a 2 meat plate , no big deal mistakes happen i went back to get the missing 2 meat plate and the man at the window immediately insists that i'm lying and says that he personally put all 4 plates and sandwich in the bag. i say well we don’t have one of the 2 meat plates and he says sir it is not possible but i can give you a plate and just so we understand i put all 4 plates and the sandwich in the bag so i know you have it... we order 100$ worth of food and i get called a liar because apparently mistakes are not possible at this location. i wasn’t mad they forgot the food but calling me a liar is unreasonable and not how you deal with customers. we will not be eating at this location any longer
Always Have Faith
I got very sick shortly after eating the brisket at this location! I had viral diarrhea for 2-3 days, and I was weak and fatigued during the process and couldn’t eat! I will try and upload the bbq pork also which I’m glad I didn’t eat. Soon as I took the lid off I could smell a foul smell and the meat was white. I’ve never seen bbq like that. I will never eat there again. I will try to upload a picture of the bbq pork! It went straight in the garbage.
Wife went through the drive through and was presented essentially with a mandatory tip. There didn't appear to be any way to opt out. Guess what? A mandatory tip is not a tip at all, it's a fee, and it's incredibly dishonest to tack on a mandatory fee without disclosure. Hopefully the FTC will crack down on these crap companies that do this garbage.

I take my daughter to this Dickies at least once a week . She gets a kids meal . A very small amount of turkey and a coleslaw . A small yellow cup comes with it . The price for a kids meal has gone from 7 to 8.50 to tonight 10.66. I was charged .50 cents extra for 5 pickle chips . If we walked in we could have unlimited for no extra charge . I understand inflation and covid and every other excuse for high prices . Come on pickles ? I also understand people think everyone in Frisco is wealthy . They are not . I told my daughter tonight that we would never eat at a Dickies again. It's a matter of principle.
The staff is friendly but they didn't know how to make a brisket baked potato. They simply throw meat on the potato and then expect you to add butter, sour cream, and cheese from a condiments bar. Everyone knows you have to add butter and other items first.

Moving forward I will not go to any other BBQ place due to not enough meat. And I paid $30 bucks. Everything else was outstanding! But what's do we get BBQ for? "meat"

The taco bell of bbq in texas. If there isnt another bbq near me where i am at and wanna have bbq that is the only time i go to dickey's. The brisket is bland and not near as moist as every other place. The baked potato casserole is usually stale. This is bottom of the barrel for texas bbq.
