What a great place, the mood is nice and i got the matchcand wow iv had alot of match drinks and this takes the cake, my friend got a milk tea with 50% sugar and i personally thought they got the sweetness just right on her drink. Definitely would reccomand this place to try!

Visited twice, and will not be returning.
The milk teas were very diluted and lacking in flavors, but what was more concerning my last visit was the lack of hygiene.

When I stated that the tea was not good, and requested if it would be possible for either a remake (wanted to give the benefit it was a one time mistake) , they said it can be done.

But after I had ordered, one of the baristas after taking my payment did not use a sponge to clean the container where the milk tea is prepared. Instead, she used her own hand to rinse it out. I have never seen such behavior and without gloves either it was frankly, disgusting.

Lastly after cleaning the container, she went to the backroom behind the close curtains, , and with the other young employee started laughing and then came out . The curtains unfortunately somewhat censored but through the slip, I could only see it was close to the trash can.

Looking back, I was foolish to try to give them the benefit of the doubt. I took one sip and I was done.

Growing up from Cali, I have NEVER had a bad Ding Tea drink as it's all measured with pre-made formulas until coming to this location. I wanted to support a local milk tea place in the area since there weren't many but with this type of behavior, improper hygiene and lack of flavors in unacceptable.

Just overall very disappointed.

I'm not sure why others give this place good reviews when the drinks aren't good but I guess if they just get anything BUT the milk teas, I can see that.

Looking at past reviews, like Sushma's and a few others, I really agree that customer service and flavors here are truly lacking.

The strawberry milk tea tasted extremely good. Especially with the golden boba! Definitely recommend this place!

Only good boba place in McKinney with consistent drinks and toppings but not flexible for redeeming a free drink on your birthday. It has to be on your birthday, can't be the day after if you happen to be busy on your actual birthday. 🤷‍♀️

Ding Tea is one of my favorite places to come for bubble tea! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy!

So good everytime

Very good tea, lots and lots of options, friendly service, decent prices, easy parking, I have no complaints. I got a mango tea with mango popping boba for myself, and a dongola (I think) coffee latte with onyx boba and a peach tea with golden boba for my friends and they loved it. A small is a little expensive but it's only 0.75 cents more for a regular, so get a regular if you want more bang for your buck. I'm interested to try the rest of their flavors and I'll be coming back!

A mediocre tea house with over sweetened drinks. Not worth second visit.

Came with my 3 kids on a whim. We had never been before. I ordered the Hazelnut Milk Tea with coconut jelly’s.
It was pretty good.
My teenage kids found their drinks to be too sweet. I did notice that you can adjust the sweetness of your drink, which is a nice feature, but we didn’t know ahead of time that the sweetness level would be too high for them.
My only gripe is, how expensive this place is and the boba isn’t even included in the drink. You have to have it added for $.75. So your small drink that consists mostly of ice, is about $7.

We won’t be back here. We get more boba for the same price at other boba tea places.

Just had one of the best boba teas in a while! It was a simple mix of strawberry and milk — no added sugar, but still perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Loved the freshness and how customizable it was — so many boba options to choose from. Definitely a go-to spot for quality boba!

I ordered a boba drink through DoorDash and was really disappointed. The DoorDash photo clearly showed toppings like boba pearls already in the drink, so I assumed they were included. Nowhere in the description did it say toppings were extra. When my order arrived, it had no toppings at all, and by then it was too late to fix it. It felt misleading, especially for a boba place with such a large menu. They really need to update their pictures or at least make the descriptions much clearer so customers know what they’re actually getting. Even the banner inside the store says in the name of the drink that it is “brown sugar milk tea PEARL”.

And before the store replies saying that selecting toppings is available on the DoorDash app and it’s obvious I should have selected them—let me say this: all other boba places also have a section for adding extra toppings, and it’s clear that those are additional. But the base drink always comes with the toppings shown in the picture, not as something you have to add yourself just to get the basic version of what’s advertised.
