High quality pies. A little expensive.
Went here with a couple of friends. A very charming establishment. Everyone was lighthearted, and the staff seemed very friendly and calming.
The items here are a tad expensive, but I believe overall the experience is worth it. (Plus, I think they gave me an extra scoop of ice cream, which is always appreciated!)
Overall, I had a fun evening with friends over some pie. I would definitely recommend this cute little shop.
Parking: Had to drive around a bit to find a parking spot. But that's to be expected in downtown mckinney.

We bought a $50 dollar pie and they wanted to charge us an extra $15 just for cutting it into slices - WHAT? 😂 I think it was just a matter of customer service and being nice. I don’t think we will be going back!
Really cute
It was the most expensive pie ever! You pay almost $50 for a small, nothing very special, full of cream pie. We asked for a little help to cut in 6 and they said that in that case the cost would be about $12.62 MORE!!

I absolutely love this place. You can taste the love that goes into these homemade pies. They are delicious!! I would add a picture but I already ate mine 😋 😂
Parking: I can usually find a spot on the street to park and walk, but it depends on what time you go.

HAIR IN OUR PIE !!
Nobody was wearing hairnets while handling food. We drove from out of town to the McKinney location hoping for a great experience for my boyfriend’s birthday as we have had at other locations. The manager saw hair in the Pie and just refunded our money and sent us out the door empty handed. Terrible experience
Better before they changed - yet, the price went up after they changed.
The blueberry pie... Before they changed, the blueberry pie was simply perfect. The blueberries popped like candied bubbles in your mouth. Alas, change has altered the quality and the bubbles are burst long before biting into the pie.

The smooth operator supposed to be a French silk pie was more of a fudge pie. Very rich not too creamy. Also ordered the coconut cream pie was not put together well kind of runny. We ordered drunken nut pecan pie but didn’t get what was order in the bag to go, instead given another smooth operator. Wish I w out of have checked the bag before leaving.

I used to love emporium pies however over the years the slices have gotten so small and the prices are down right RIDICULOUS.
This is the pathetic tiny $8 piece of pie we received tonight, I pictured their fork with it as a reference as to how tiny this piece of pie was. Total rip off.
Although the pies are tasty it just isn’t worth it anymore. I absolutely will not be a customer here anymore.

My bf and I ordered the Drunken Nut about 10 days before pickup, and my bf picked it up 2 days before Thanksgiving. We ordered online. Ordering online went smoothly, and I appreciate the two reminder emails because we had such a busy week.
The Drunken Nut (pecan pie) is amazingly delicious. I can taste the bourbon in it. Hence the name. I am sensitive to things being overly sweet, and I was concerned it would be, but it wasn’t. I will definitely buy here again next Thanksgiving. Yes it’s pricey, but the quality of ingredients and taste make it well worth it. I’m willing to pay more for those rare indulgences. My boyfriend picked it up. I would like to go next time with him, and have their coffee and sit inside.

Never had a bad experience here. Ordered delivery for the first time because I was feeling a little down/off and there isn’t an option to add whipped cream. I’ve never had theirs before but I wanted to treat myself- so I put in a note requesting it, said they can charge me extra but if they can’t add it that’s totally fine! They gave me extra and wrote the cutest note- it made my day! Great crew here every time I’ve come and this just cemented my opinion of them. Also the whipped cream is great!
