What a perfect little gem of a restaurant! The food is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious—you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The chef is amazing and can make just about anything, which makes the experience feel so personal and special.
The staff is beyond incredible—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which really elevates the whole night. This place is the perfect spot for a date night: cozy, fun, and full of great energy.

Ordered food to go, with a food allergy. We have been here dozens of times and even have a preferred waitress. Normally we eat in, but tonight, decided to take food to go. Rotated the food allergy and promised it would be respected (even ordered our standard go to entrée for easy substitution ofnsauce). This was not respected and the allergy was received. 15 minutes after consuming, the reaction started. Called the restaurant and the response was 'we are sorry to hear that'. Obviously upset with slouch a poor response, I responded with 'i will be there i. Front of the restaurant to inform any customer of their lackluster customer service' - with.juch more colorful language. Will never visit/patron this establishment again. And I will follow thru with informing any potential customer on their way into Fontina of the absolute disregard for public health and safety. Find olme outside the establishment every night for as long as I can.

The food here is good, but over multiple visits I have found the service to be lacking. The spinach dip appetizer (which is a large serving of dip) came with 5 small crostinis. We asked for more of the toasted bread and they said no.

This place is incredible! It’s family owned and you can taste it in the food. The atmosphere was so warm and absolutely gorgeous. The servers are kind and welcoming and really go out of their way to make an impact on your visit. Can’t recommend it enough!!!

Unfortunately, the experience here was extremely poor. My husband and I came here for our 9th wedding anniversary and was quickly disappointed after receiving our dinner. The pesto sauce had peanuts in the ingredients which was not disclosed on the menu. As a result, my husband, who has a peanut allergy, immediately began experiencing symptoms. I notified the waiter who confirmed the pesto sauce had peanuts, but quickly dismissed our concerns and instead defaulted to blame us for the lack of awareness. The concern was raised to the manager who denied the ingredients in the pesto sauce as previously confirmed by our waiter; however, he removed the one plate from our bill in a transactional manner, yet, no one apologized for the lack of awareness and now ruined evening.
In summary, please disclose this on the menu or to future diners, if you have a peanut allergy please disclose it in advance or carry your epi pen.

Had to ask 4 everything water,cheese,pepper 4 salad. Never asked if we wanted extra drinks or dessert. Never asked how our meal was. Food was delicious but lousy aervice!
Very underwhelmed. Celebrated my wife's bday this evening to a very disappointing evening. Service was just okay. Food 4 out of 10. When you order a chicken piccata and the chicken is nice and hot yet the mash are refrigerated cold. Very bad experience. I had to explain to the waiter my experience. Honestly, he didn't care. This is the kicker, I left some piccata left overs, just the chicken, for tomorrow. However I asked if I can have a side pasta to accommodate the left over chicken. Waiter said not problem. He brings me a side order of fettuccine and on my bill an extra charge of $15.00. Honestly, appalling. I think it's fair to say that I will not be returning back to this establishment.

Fabulous dinner at Fontina! This was our first time there. The restaurant has a wonderful rustic friendly vibe and the food was excellent. Our waitress Brooklin was so wonderful and the bartender Lauren makes some awesome drinks. Will definitely be back!

McKinney upscale Italian near the square, Edgar was an excellent waiter very polite knowledgeable and provide wonderful table service. Our appetizer oven baked olives in lemon were so good. Our salads and pasta dishes were amazing and shareable, our drinks were perfect and limoncello cheesecake with lemoncello was perfect. Thank you so much we highly recommend and will return many more times.
