Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Nice place but burgers sub par. This is a smash burger place. What are smash burgers. Pressed thin patties w a crust, dark crispy lace, and greasy. The place smelled like greasy so I expected a good burger. What i got was dry burger patties 2x the size of the bun it was served on.. where's the grease? No idea. Ice cream machine looked nasty. Vanilla was broken, and chocolate was just oozing out and dirty. Wish I got a picture of that. They food came out real fast.so I think they might precook the patties.and have them warm in a hopper to just build sandwiched with. The fried cheese curds were actually good. My wife had the chicken sandwich, which is a ground chicken patty. Well spiced. The concrete, which is their signature desserts, were 7$ a pop. Way to steep. I can stop at braums and get 2 of their large containers for 7$ will not be returning

They forgot my fries but went back and they gave me extra. Had a hotdog with just grilled onions, mustard and jalepenos and it was phenomenal! Fries were ok but they have other sides to choose from.

Great burgers and the custard was phenomenal!

The first time was food was good. This time my burger didn't taste fresh. My ice cream wasn't good.

I tried the tot's and found out they are just not for me at all. It has a taste in them that I just could not figure out. Needless to say I threw them away.

The employee seemed confused possibly maybe in training or a lot of new ones, but there was a lot of chaos going on extra long wait I really didn’t mind the wait time but it was extremely long but when I receive my order, the burger was so sloppy!!!!! It looked nothing like your pictures. Trust me. It was a sloppiest burger. I think I’ve ever received even worse than Burger King’s. The onion rings were delicious. They were all stuck together, but they were delicious but the hamburger I didn’t end up eating it all because it was just such a mess. I was unable to eat it. This was my first time trying Freddy steak burgers I don’t think I’ll be visiting again.

We initially tried the grapevine location a couple of months ago and were disappointed. Once I found out they had a location by my job I gave it a go. Fries are super greasy with a taste of old frying oil. The burger that I bought (double cheeseburger) was disgusting. Through half of the burger I got a chemical taste that had me just throw it back in the bag. Both locations had the same weird taste to everything. Will not be rerurning.
