I hosted a private cookie decorating party at my home, and it was so much fun! I’d never even met Kara prior to this, but I really wanted to learn how to decorate “fancy” cookies, so I took the leap and scheduled a class with Kara.
I cannot recommend her enough - she is an absolutely FANTASTIC teacher. She breaks everything down for you, demonstrates the techniques, and gives constructive feedback with a huge helping of positivity and encouragement. I couldn’t believe how well everyone’s cookies turned out…especially since it was most people’s first time to ever try out this new skill.
Kara made this whole process so easy from start to finish, and I would definitely host another private party with her!

I highly recommend Gentle Confections cookies and cookie classes. I took my first class exactly 1 year ago today, and I was hooked. Kara is so professional and walks the class through all of the steps yet supports creativity within the instruction as well. I loved it so much that I even gathered my friends in order to complete a private home party in December of last year. I joined in the Summer Cookie Challenge, and I can’t wait to take more classes. My husband loves the cookies and so does my dog, Surf (That was an oops moment, but he knows when I have cookies in the house now.) I am looking forward to taking more classes from Kara. If you have the chance, do it! You won’t regret it.
