No one at the front counter to take orders. Had to yell twice before anyone came. Person that came was rude like I was bothering her by trying to order food.
You can’t see them get the food. She wasn’t wearing food gloves. If my family wasn’t so hungry, I would have walked out.
The chicken fingers are smaller not even a quarter of the chicken box full but the same price.
Terrible place. Been to other Golden chicks and the service and food was better.

Ordered a dozen rolls, opened them at drive thru window to check their quality vector pulling off, since last couple times they weren’t great. This time they were really burned and crusty and dry. I politely asked for new ones and he told me it would take 30 minutes.

Costs are going up, but chicken strips are getting smaller. Dr. Pepper tastes a little funny. The drive through speaker needs to be replaced. I think it's still cheaper than Chicken Express so I keep going back.

The food taste very different compared to before. The quantity and sizes are significantly different. Do not recommend at all. Just awful.

10/26/2024 7:35pm. We were at the drive thru and the one taking our order was rude. She was in a hurry while taking our orders and when my husband tried to add fries we heard the lady said “oh my god” she was annoyed. I got upset too and asked her why she is saying that & what is wrong?? She made an alibi that something wrong with her headset. Her tone of voice changed when I got upset. We canceled our order and left. What kind of customer service is that.

VERY BAD drive-thru experience. I've been this location couple of times and every time they don't speak at drive-thru speaker and when I pull up to the window, no one will be at the window to take order NOT COMING BACK AGAIN.
I always go to this place as my orders were always right and everyone was nice. This time the lady who does the drive thru is very rude. You can hear her “oh my God” while she’s taking orders. I ordered for churros and gave me rolls instead and never gave my receipt. Management should train employees to be nice and respectful as I was saying please and thank you while she’s taking my orders. This African American, heavier side young lady looks mad and tired but that’s not an excuse to be rude to the customers. I’m sorry Golden Chick but I will never be going back to this store. 👎🏼

This is the 2nd time I’ve gotten my order wrong. The first it was just a 2 piece meal for myself, so I just brushed it off but I just ordered a $40 family meal with LEG only as she mentioned they only had leg and thigh. I also asked for roasted. It wasn’t until we got home that we looked and we got fried chicken with only 2 damn legs. I got thighs, a wing and 2 breasts. Not to mention the mashed potatoes were the consistency of grave. It’s just too much.

I've always loved this place and service but I know every location is different. The location in McKinney, TX off of Custer and Hwy 380 has disappointed me. I ordered a 2 piece fish meal as that is really all I can eat there due to my diet and did not get two pieces. Instead I got 1 and a half of a piece. I clearly stated to the lady that I would wait if they needed to cook more. I feel robbed by one of my favorite places. I've been served fairly at other locations so I know what two pieces of fish should look like!
