The food was delicious!!! Best restaurant I've been in years. The service is top tier. The ambiance is gorgeous, makes you feel welcome. Their menu changes seasonally and it's worth it every time. Definitely favorite restaurant

Great farm-to-table experience! Firstly, every single cocktail I've had has been incredible. All their food is locally sourced and I know the head chef is incredibly selective with her vendors. The food itself is pretty great. The style isn't a personal favorite, but even I can recognize excellence in a different cuisine. It's also owned by some folks who own several other businesses on The Square, so it's nice to support local.

I would like to revise my previous posting regarding Harvest as we truly had a wonderful experience tonight when we went back! Rick the owner was wonderful to reach out to me and truly does care about his customers! The food was EXCELLENT from their deviled eggs to their smoked brisket tacos for appetizers. My husband had their crispy chicken breast over a wonderful slaw and I tried their red fish served over a potato purée. The manager Sam was extremely nice and our waiter, Pete, was excellent! Needless to say, we can't wait to go back and made reservations for their brunch!

Great experience! The drinks were gorgeous and well made, the food was delicious and the service was top notch! We also had the pimento cheese spread which was so rich and tasted amazing. The chicken fried steak was HUGE, we definitely should have split it, but instead I took the leftovers and ate it for 3 days and it was better every day haha. Definitely check out the top floor- great bar and live music and such a cool vibe! Will definitely be back even just to hang out at the upstairs bar for cocktails and apps!

My wife and I decided to go to Harvest for date night on a Saturday. It could've been better in our opinion. Service: Worst service! My wife and I went to the third floor and sat at the bar. One of the bartenders looked like he was having a bad night and took him over 15 minutes to acknowledge us. After the food was delivered, he didn't check on us once and we had to track him for the bill. Food: My wife ordered the blackened striped bass ($25) and it was delicious. The bass and black rice were flavorful. I order the grass-fed filet ($41) and it was the worst filet that I've had in my life. It had tendons and was so chewy that I stopped eating it after two bites. The scallion garlic mashed potatoes, which came with the filet were tasty. Ambiance: The ambiance was great. My wife and I enjoyed the live music and the lounge feel of the third floor. In conclusion, I'm not sure my wife and I will be returning to Harvest, but one thing for sure we won't be recommending it to our friends. Hope ya'll have a better experience.

Great unique drinks and dishes that vary by the seasons. My wife and I went there for date night- make sure you have reservations as it is busy. This is easily the best fine dining restaurant in McKinney.

Great experience last night at Harvest. The 3rd floor lounge had the right vibe. The live music by Songbird Jones was awesome. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The Smoke Haus cocktail was so good and fun with the presentation. Ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. New favorite restaurant in McKinney.

Loved the previous location. Food, service, and atmosphere have all gone down.

Communal bathroom on the first level. Just a NO! I have no desire to enter a bathroom with strange men nor would I send a young girl to the restroom. ??

We used to come to Harvest for anniversaries and birthdays, but after my visit last night, I am not planning on returning. They moved locations, which I thought was amazing that they are bringing a historic building back to life, however the inside is a completely different vibe than their original location. That was a let down. The food was not very good, no where near what I used to rave about. The deviled eggs were just ok rather than the amazing they used to be. A lot less toppers on them. Two people in our party ordered the burger and it was very dry and lacked flavor. The apple streusel type dessert (I'm forgetting the name) was very very dry, even with mixing the ice cream in. It's kinda sad that 5 desert loving women took one bite each and left the rest for the trash. I'm not sure if there's a new chef that is not as good or maybe we went on an off night? Our server was very nice, but she did forget to put in one meal which we had to wait for.I also want to mention that the restroom is co-ed and clearly not looked after. Very strange to walk into a multiple stall restroom with a man in there. Don't let your children go to the restroom without you!! The toilet seats in two stalls were up and had pee everywhere and unflushed, even after an hour of our dinner. Also without toilet paper.

We decided to try the new location for brunch today. The restaurant looks nice, the drinks were good but the food was not good at all. I was so hungry. I ordered the brisket tacos. They were awful. Cold and flavorless. The rice wasn't good either. I forced myself to eat two of the tacos because I didn't want to be hungry, they gave me Indigestion and I just threw them up. My husband ordered the chicken and biscuits, he said it was bland and the dish had no flavor. My son ordered the cheeseburger, it was dry and he didnt even eat it. Sadly our visit was a waste and I've spent this evening with an upset stomach.
