I’m convinced that the high reviews are from parents that want to wear out their kids. The fries were limp and salty. The burgers were very mediocre. I will stick Five Guys and never return.

Adults really do sacrifice a good burger for a playground where your kids can burn energy. Sticking to whataburger!

Messed up on our food and then replaced it with more food that wasn’t done right. Kitchen lady had an attitude about.Food is very greasy and salty. Immediately remembered why it’s been two years since I brought my family here.

We always have a great time at Hat Creek - the food is great with lots of gluten free choices for our family and the kids get to play!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns on request, GF fried pickles, and GF nuggets!Kid-friendliness: Playground is safe and fenced in so kids are good to play while the adults enjoy a meal!

Went here for a date night with my girlfriend. Ordered the classic and received a smushed bacon burger. I paid $32.65 and Hat Creek did not deliver. The overall service was nice, but the quality of the food could improve.

There is an issue with our food every time we go. A burger is forgotten, a drink isn't correct, something! Everytime! It's pretty impressive that they screw up so often. We are pretty much done with Hat Creek at this point. We went today and my 3 year olds tiny hat was missing, which caused a really fun meltdown for me.

Edit- Not celiac approved at all. My son did not tell me his stomach was hurting. He would get lettuce and a burger with tomato bowl. I should have known better.Love going here. My son has celiac disease and the staff have done a GREAT job of cleaning everything to make sure he does not come into contact with gluten. They have checked ingredients for me upon request as well. Even though I do not have celiac disease I do have a gluten sensitivity and I order the gluten free flash chicken nuggets and they are always tasty. I am happy with their service and I hope all new staff continue to be educated on gluten free and cross contamination with foods. My family and I frequent the Mckinney, Tx location on Custer. Thank you, Hat Creek! This was our family's first fast food place that we let our son try since he was diagnosed in 2016.

???My recent carry-out order at Hat Creek Burger Company with high hopes of savoring some delicious buffalo wings and a chicken burger. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.First and foremost, the buffalo wings I ordered were incredibly dry. It was evident that they had been overcooked, resulting in a disappointing texture. The dryness of the wings made them challenging to enjoy, and it was far from the succulent and flavorful experience I was hoping for.To make matters worse, the appearance of the chicken wings was less than appetizing. They seemed as if they had been sitting around for a while, and the meat looked unappetizingly old and discolored. Additionally, there was an unpleasant smell emanating from the wings, which immediately raised concerns about their freshness. The most concerning part of my experience was discovering that the wings had been fried a second time before being served to me. This suggested a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen and a disregard for the quality of the food being served to customers. Re-frying food not only affects its taste but can also make it less healthy. All in all, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I couldn't help but compare the quality of the food at Hat Creek Burger Company to that of a fast-food chain like McDonald's. While I'm not usually one to compare, in this case, McDonald's nuggets and burgers seemed far superior in terms of taste and quality.I hope that Hat Creek Burger Company takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the quality of their dishes. For now, I cannot recommend dining there, especially if you're looking for delicious buffalo wings and chicken burgers. In addition to the disappointing buffalo wings and chicken burger, I also ordered a side of fries with cheese at Hat Creek Burger Company. Unfortunately, this dish failed to meet even the most basic expectations.Firstly, the fries were not served hot, which was a major letdown. I believe that a crucial aspect of enjoying fries is their temperature, and in this case, they were lukewarm at best. Cold fries can never match the satisfaction of hot, crispy ones.Furthermore, the cheese topping on the fries was far from what I anticipated. It had not melted properly, leaving the cheese in a clumpy and unappetizing state. I was expecting a gooey and savory cheese experience, but instead, I was met with a lackluster and unimpressive topping.
