If you have not eaten at Hugs, you are missing out on some yummy food and such caring service. This cafe is one-of-a-kind and even more special because of the people who work there. There is a lot to see and do in downtown McKinney but a visit to Hugs should be on EVERYONE'S list!

I admit that I have never stepped into the Hugs Cafe, but I was given a cookie made by them at a charity event I attended. Wow, was this cookie fantastic. It tasted like a lemon-almond cookie. The cookie was cute, it was just the right size and it melted in my mouth. If all of their baked goods and food are as good as this cookie, it makes me want to drive to McKinney to check out their fare. I think I will!

I love this place. I had a friend visiting from Ohio and we were talking to my neighbors about places to eat while he was here. My neighbor told us about Hugs Cafe and I knew we had to try it. My friend and I both ordered the Grilled Cheese on sourdough with the Tomato Basil soup. We both loved it!! My friend got the oatmeal raisin with cranberries ( I think ). I stayed with classic chocolate chip cookie. My friend said his was amazing and I thought the chocolate chip was perfect. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the mission behind the place is Heartwarming. I know I will be back many times. I even purchased a coffee Mug that says, "Have you had your Hug today?" I love supporting local owned businesses, this tops them all.

What an amazing place! The staff was super sweet, great owners, and the food was excellent. Ciara did such a good job serving, and Chris was very helpful! I forgot the man’s name at the register, but he was super funny. Definitely recommend going to hugs for the atmosphere and food. Thanks, Hugs, for a great time!!

I've not been there I saw this Cafe on TCR I'm so love this place and I've not been there. Food looks awesome. I wish they would open another in San Antonio near Morgan's Town. If I'm ever close I would sooooo go there to ear.

Staff are adults with "intellectual and developmental disabilities" (per their website). If this place doesn't make you happy... check your pulse! We had 5-cheese grilled cheese and tomato basil soup. The food was great! Don't forget to pickup one of their homemade cookies.
