We dined there for lunch. I had the Monte Cristo croffle. It is a weird idea of theirs to make a Monte Cristo on a croissant and then put it in the waffle maker. It was good but a traditional Monte Cristo sandwich is better.

It was our first time at the McKinney location. The was as good as usual. The young lady took our order incorrectly, though. The food was all good, just not what we thought that we had ordered.

Unfortunately the service was unforgivable. I sat 20 minutes waiting for my food while others got served. A tip well for nothing. Sausage was still cold from The Omelette was horrible. First time at La Madeleine got this particular location

Staff is friendly service is quick but the food was Meh…. I use to love the Cesar salad there but lately the lettuce has been of poor quality and not what I’ve been used to getting and is so in- La Madeleine like. Can’t recommend like I used to.

McKinney TX location. Been awhile since I have been to one. Clean and atmosphere great with the fireplace. Food great however they no longer provide free bread, butter and jam like in the past. Very off putting when they hint around about a Tip when you are sliding your credit card. Also the almond croissants look to be about 1/3 smaller than they used to be.

Our 17-year-old chose la Madeleine for his birthday dinner, even with the option to pick any restaurant in McKinney. We hadn’t called ahead, and with a few surprise guests from Kansas, our group grew to 16 people. Despite this, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. They provided exceptional service, even surprising our son with a birthday dessert and helping us capture some wonderful group photos.
A special shoutout to Ryan, Serenity, and Marta for taking phenomenal care of us—you truly made the evening unforgettable. Your warmth, efficiency, and kindness stood out and made our celebration so much more special. The entire team’s hospitality impressed several family members who had never been to la Madeleine before, and they couldn’t stop raving about the food and service, vowing to return. We’re deeply grateful for the effort and patience you all showed in making our son’s birthday dinner such a wonderful experience.
Kid-friendliness: We had several kids aging from 4-19 (which is still a kid to me!) All of them LOVED their food and we had empty plates and happy children. :)

My fruit tart had old fruit on it that had a sour taste and disgusting foul smell - I almost vomited after taking one bite, I had to spit it out. I went inside to return it and advised manager that the fruit on the tart is old and has an odd funky smell & sour taste- she pretty much tried to force me to order something else as I refused and requested my money back. She then put out another fruit tart and said- maybe give it another try. I WILL NEVER eat here again!
