Food was really good, was better than I remembered from a year ago. Great waitress. Overall very nice experience. Would definitely go back.
Always a pleasure and drive from Grand Prairie to get the sweet potato pancakes and cappuccino.
I really would have loved my jam to be the consistency of actual jelly or jam. It was extremely runny. Not sure if this was intentional. The robot server was a fun novelty.
Crescent Sandwich was scrumptious. (Fresh squeezed juice would have been icing on the cake!) Had a coffee on the long drive in so will go back again and try their coffee!
It was our first time visiting. The food and service were amazing. We can't wait to go back and try other menu options.
I ordered Migas - never ordered them anywhere that tortillas weren't included . You have to ask ! Don't forget because my Migas were cold by the time I got my tortillas . Outdoor seating is not an option in Texas during the summer - this made the wait long ! Our waiter was great ! Pleasant - but the kicked out at some point because they needed our table . I have been kicked out of other places . Probably wouldn't return .
This cozy spot in downtown McKinney is a great place to grab a coffee or hot chocolate.
They use rich coffee beans, and the coffee is top-notch.
The food portions are generous, and the servers are friendly and efficient.
I highly recommend trying the Nutella coconut toast—the coconut flakes are a unique and delicious addition.
We dint like the red sauce on spicy chicken sandwich
If you are vegetarian try vegan hash
Excellent servers (eg: Emily), great food, nice atmosphere, fast.
Always excellent food and coffee. The breakfast sandwich and waffles are our favorites. Top it off with Bottomless Mimosas
Unique is the first word that come to mind. It’s charming, and yet uniquely different restaurant, especially sitting in a town Square.
They do a great job of combining a fun and funky vibe with friendly staff and great food.
Add to that they have a full bar and they turn into a Speakeasy at night.
We would recommend this as a “must go to” if ever near the town Square of McKinney .

I say 4.8. I had the chicken fried steak, that was just OK. Also had the sweet potato pancakes, which were great. My wife had waffles that she says were amazing. Good mimosas as well.
Great brunch! I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken wasn’t overly breaded and fried perfectly!
Layered is one of my favorite places. Hot or iced, the Dolce is unmatched anywhere. The breakfast sandwich is excellent. Inside the tables are crowded, so if the temperature is at all amenable I recommend the patio.
Awesome food, service, and sweet speak easy.
We've been a few times, and will continue to go back. I try something different every time, and I've yet to be disappointed. In particular, their chicken and waffles is stellar. They are also one of the few places that can make a proper Cortado.
