Mary's Mountain Cookies

These are some of the best cookies me and my family have ever had. They are awesome. You will not be disappointed and you’ll be going back for more. I would recommend as gifts, events, and just for snacking. These are great.

This place has some amazing cookies. Gourmet and worth the price (and calories). My favorite is the s’mores cookie and a pecan turtle one. So far no other place has beat their cookie quality. Mary's is the best!

Wow... I mean... Cookie Crumbl has NOTHING on these because they actually sell real cookies. We bought 6 and got 2 free. You can bye editable cookie dough, gluten free versions, ice cream AND.... you can buy the premade dough to bake at home! Pairs great with Baron's Creek Wine...

Whenever we in McKinney, we always stop by and get the cookie deal! These cookies are delicious, they even have cookie dough ! Those of us that are serious ,they have bluebell ice cream!

Our first time and we were not disappointed! We loved seeing all the different flavors and the cookies were so delicious! I great treat to end our valentines date!

We come to this store almost every time we come to downtown McKinney. My husband gets the same cookie every time and I always try one of their rotating flavors. Cookies are amazing every time. Highly recommend if you love cookies!

Decent Ice Cream, but Timing Matters

I recently visited Mary’s Mountain Cookies and tried their ice cream. The flavor was okay, but my experience was affected by the timing of my visit. We arrived about 10 minutes before closing on a Friday night, and it was clear the staff was in the middle of their closing routine.

The shop smelled heavily of cleaning products, which gave my ice cream an odd taste. The employees seemed eager to wrap up their evening, and we were treated to the sounds of rapper M&M’s music playing at full blast—unexpected, to say the least!

While I might give this place another try, I wouldn’t recommend going so close to closing time, especially on a Friday. It seems like the atmosphere (and possibly the experience) is much better earlier in the day.

I came here once, and the cookies were good, but when we were trying to pay, my card declined for a moment, and the attendant about to hand me the cookies literally snatched them back like I was about to steal them and I was like...Do people usually take them and walk out or something...or was it my skin color maybe? Idk it was bizarre, and I didn't even want the cookies afterward, but we ended up eating them, and they were good, but I was still sad that I got treated weird it's been years since I returned

EDIT: I just noticed that for some reason doordash chose to deliver from Frisco, which is decently further away from me and now who I have ordered from before. Mckinney location has never done me wrong, and I apologize for my mistake. I'm going to leave the review up though, just to persuade you to come here instead of Frisco!!!

It makes me so sad to write this, but had an awful experience with Mary's Mountain.

We ordered about 8 cookies the other night, around 5-6pm, on DoorDash, and they came and were very stale/day-old tasting. The thing we specifically love about Mary's Mountain is that they're so soft and moist - especially the smores, how do they get the graham cracker like that!?

That being said, every single cookie seemed like it was already a day old or something and about to be thrown out. It really ruined how good they are. Actually kind of upset about this because they're such an amazing store normally, and using doordash is EXPENSIVE between the costs and no special buy 6 get 2 deal.. :-(

For the record we've had Mary's Mountain MANY times before, and have ordered it later in the day/night before and never had this issue.
