Called to place a catering order for 13 with over 2 hours notice. Manager Kim acted like I was inconveniencing her and like me trying to spend money there would overwhelm her. Told her I’d go somewhere else with my daily catering order.

Consistently good food. Consistently friendly service. They’re known best for their iced tea, which is always fresh. I enjoy the “McAlester’s Club” sandwich.

My wife and I love coming to this McAlisters. We come at least once a month. The service and food are always top notch. I recommend visiting in the evening too - it's not as busy as the lunch hour and makes for a great, quiet place for a date or catchup with friends.

Shoutout to Jake, one of the managers. My wife and I were there for a date this evening and Jake went above-and-beyond to be friendly and ensure the service was excellent.

I had been to this location a couple years ago and the service was so poor that I’d not wanted to go back. Gave it another try today and left smiling because the staff was SO amazing, and the food was delicious (per usual)!!! It really makes a difference when you go out to eat these days and the customer service factor is there. The management is awesome!! The soup was not as hot or as fresh as I wish it would’ve been, but the attentiveness of the staff made up for it. I even had to go by the front desk and let the manager know what an awesome team she has! Keep it up!

Don’t use the curbside at this location. They never actually do it and you’ll be waiting forever in your car while your food is sitting on the counter ready for you to walk in and grab it after clearly putting it down for curbside

The McAlister's McKinney, store # 533, managed by Kim, is a favorite of ours! We recently ate there on a busy Saturday, and as always, service was quick and friendly, tables were bussed and cleaned promptly, and we were checked on by staff to make sure our food was ok, and to ask if we needed anything else. Management of a restaurant makes all the difference in the dining experience.
