Tuesday night trivia rocks at mellow mushroom in McKinney!!!

2.5/5. The place looked nice, but both the pretzel bites and the pizza was insanely doughey and hard to chew. Food took around 40 minutes to arrive.

Tried Mellow Mushroom for the first time, ordered a pizza and some wings. The pizza tastes like it came out of a middle school cafeteria. I would rather eat pizza from Chuck e cheese. The wings are pre cooked frozen chicken and they charge more than wingstop - $16 for 10 pre-cooked dry wings is outrageous. they even charge you an extra $1.50 for ranch. Not just any ranch - hidden valley….CHARGING EXTRA FOR HIDDEN VALLEY. This place prices itself like a high end pizza shop with fresh ingredients and top-tier pizza but in reality, it’s just an overpriced sysco popup.

To the lovely person responding to all negative reviews blaming the customer and never taking accountability, the problem is not your service its your food. Your attitude responding to customers is the most cowardice mindset I have ever seen, stop taking offense to every bit of criticism and evaluate your business and maybe try to focus on making the best food you can rather than relying on alcohol to fool people into thinking your food is good.

The were so kind and patient. It was not awkward with them. They made me feel right at home and my food was out fast. Delicious food! Charles was DA BOMB!!!! Charles ily you my goat.

Great customer service, gave me a refill without even having to ask and food was extremely good.

We were a group of 16 that came in on a Friday night. Deneyah was our server and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! She was super nice and handles a big group perfectly. Her memory is spot on and so is her character. She did the whole job with a smile. Seriously haven’t met someone that genuinely nice in a while. Thank you!

We ordered a Funky Q. Chicken, meatball hoagie,.and pretzel bites with beer cheese to go. The pretzel bites and beer cheese were good. Didn't expect anything more or less. The pizza dough was rubbery and chewy and the sauce was really lacking, which caused the pizza to be dry. The size of the hoagie was laughable and was mostly bread.

Absolutely incredible service, our server Addi was so engaging and kind! My date and I had such a wonderful experience! She truly made our entire day! The food was so so good! We will definitely be returning! 🤍
