Second time here, food was great just like the first time. Restaurant is clean and the music is pleasant. Only complaint was service. Our server barely spoke to us… we only knew her name because of the bill; Mia. We got chips and waited 10 minutes to put in a drink order, another 15 to order, but thankfully, food came out quickly. She set our plates down and walked away before I could ask for limes or more hot sauce. I waited but she never swung by… so ate my tacos cold and with no sauce or limes. Never got a salsa refill or drink refill, never asked if we needed anything, never asked if we liked our meal… nothing. We come here because it’s seed oil free but the 30 minute drive is certainly not worth it if we’re going to pay $20 for tacos or $20 for a burger just to be our servers afterthought during slow service.

I absolutely love Petra’s food and drinks! We have been several times and the quality is fabulous. I love that they don’t use seed oils. My only concern with returning is the visible mold on all of the AC vents throughout the restaurant. It’s a health hazard and needs to be addressed properly and immediately.

I’m not kidding when I say this is the MOST mediocre restaurant I have ever eaten at in my entire life. The food isn’t bad but it’s also not good. The service isn’t bad but it’s also not good at all. It’s mediocre at best. I tried the gauc which was pretty good but could definitely use some flavor. Got the plain queso, that I liked (i ordered it plain so I didn’t expect a lot of flavor there). The rice tasted like those 90 second microwave rice packs from the grocery store. Absolutely terrible. Also, they don’t cut the quesadillas and the chicken they put inside are GIANT chunks. It was difficult to eat cause the giant chunks of chicken kept falling out. Tried to cut the quesadilla myself for my kid & it just fell apart because of the giant chunks of chicken. Taco Bell’s are a million times better. I feel like a fast food restaurant should not be better than a restaurant like this. At the end of the day, this restaurant lacks flavor and the employees lack energy and personality. The price does not match the quality of food, atmosphere or service. I think they should lower the price of the food or up their flavor and service. I wouldn’t mind paying this price if they made some small changes. They sit right in the middle for me. A couple of changes could make this place really nice or really shitty.

Very delicious food! Cooked in beef tallow and they avoid the hateful 8! (No seed oils) Great prices and excellent service! Corn tortillas were a big hit! Baja bowl and tacos were the favorites at our table.
