Truly one of McKinney’s hidden gems. The food always exceeds expectations and shows the genuine craft of what this place offers. Andy and Zach do an amazing job running Petra and it shows through the outstanding hospitality every visit brings.

Second time here, food was great just like the first time. Restaurant is clean and the music is pleasant. Only complaint was service. Our server barely spoke to us… we only knew her name because of the bill; Mia. We got chips and waited 10 minutes to put in a drink order, another 15 to order, but thankfully, food came out quickly. She set our plates down and walked away before I could ask for limes or more hot sauce. I waited but she never swung by… so ate my tacos cold and...

Stopped by for lunch and tried the fish tacos - absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, and you can tell the place is run really well. Great value for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend!
