I’ve never dined in here before I’ve only ever taken food to go. EVERY time I order there is ALWAYS something. My order is almost always wrong and they do very little to be accommodating when it’s their fault. I’ve given this location a few chances since I’m Haitian and finding a Haitian restaurant in Dallas is next to impossible but I’m good, clearly this place is just not for me.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I placed a to-go order around 12:32 and was told it would take 10 to 12 minutes. Instead, I did not receive my food until 12:55, even though I was the only person waiting. The delay was frustrating enough, but what made it worse was the customer service. The employee who took my order, a taller guy wearing a dangly cross earring, had an attitude while taking my order. When my food was finally ready, he placed the bag on the counter without even looking at me or acknowledging the long wait. Being seven months pregnant, standing around for almost 30 minutes for an order of jerk pork with two festivals and a beef patti( which is already made) while dealing with poor service made the experience especially frustrating. Being a Jamaican I really had high hopes for this restaurant.

Im not giving this place 2 stars because the food was bad, I just think it could be better for what you are paying for it that's all. Please give this place a facelift with some decor that will give patrons something to talk about. The portions are unfair and are way too small to be expensive. $50 for the Tour of Jamaica with one scoop of peas n rice is insulting, throw some more chunks of meat in while you're at it.

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as pleasant as I had hoped. I believe our waiter forgot to put in our order, as we noticed that guests who arrived after us were receiving their food before we did. Another waiter eventually stepped in to address the issue. The loaded fries were good, but I was disappointed with the flavor of my curry chicken. My son ordered chicken fingers, only to be told after more than 20 minutes that they were out. On top of that, we had to change our drinks twice because every soda we received was watery and unappealing.
To make matters worse, I was overcharged on my bill. When I brought it to their attention, the person in charge refused to issue a refund and instead offered food in place of the difference. I declined, but they insisted on not returning my money, so I ended up having to take the food. Once we got home, three people in our group experienced stomach issues after eating the wings with the honey barbecue jerk sauce.
We arrived at 6:30, and with all the waiting, drink issues, and billing problems, we didn’t leave until after 9:30.
As much as I love supporting Black-owned businesses, we will not be returning.

I was very disappointed about the service. I watch 2 tables come in after me and still no food. The waiter seems to be confused and had to be replaced by someone else. Once I received my bill I notice the gratuity was already being charged and my daughter bill had items she didn’t order and when she tried to get the bill corrected she was told she couldn’t get her money back from the waiter because the manager never came out to talk with her. Thumbs down for me.

Hi! Came here today for the first time to celebrate my birthday and the service was HORRIBLE! We waited for an hour and NEVER GOT FOOD! We asked for our ticket and paid for the drinks we received and left! Called inside for a manager or supervisor and there was not one on site! Horrible service and horrible way to spend a birthday!

Won’t return based upon the brief and unfriendly experience I just had. Placed an order online which offered curbside, I entered my vehicle info and paid online. I followed up with a phone call after the recommended 40-45 minute wait. A gentleman answered the phone, Stuart and explained curbside was not an option and give them 10 minutes. This was fine, I allowed time and arrived to the restaurant, right in front which would have been ideal for curbside. Anywho, I entered, the only gentleman working behind the bar failed to greet me and in fact turned around and helped himself to a plate. I stood there for a bit and said “hello”. He looked and went to grab my order and said “here you go” in a very nonchalant demeanor. No thank you for your business or anything. I began to walk away and asked his name, and if he was the gentleman I spoke with over the phone. He said Stuart.
I’d like to support my people, though with this type of nonchalance, they won’t last long here. I work for a company that believes kindness and connections build loyal customers. And this is true.
Pretty good spot to get jamaican food from. My wife loved the oxtail mac n cheese.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I always come for the Haitian food anytime I’m feeling homesick. My waiter today, Natalie, was amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting her sister, Lora, also. All our conversation was in Creole. I love the fact that I can meet my people while dining. Plus, the person who cleaned our table was Alex, another Haitian. This is my 6th time coming to this restaurant. My experience is always amazing.💗💗💗💗

Really wanted to like this place because the food was good. Besides the jerk chicken & The problem was there hair in my food twice should of taken a picture. I came In 8/8/25 the day before my birthday the servers tried to gaslight us and say it was from The goat… the second plate had the nerve to have hair on the cabbage. Be so for real then the manager lied and said the entire plate will recooked yet the server said it wasn’t and tried to say my brother put the gravy from the goat on the cabbage which was a lie he didn’t even barely touched the second plate. Why would you not recook a plate that had hair on it ? Then I ordered jerk chicken asked for more sauce and she tried to charge me for it. So I said even with hair on my food twice. I’m a food inspector and have a food business back in Austin this was bad business . Couldn’t even give an accommodation tried to offer two free patties after gaslighting me a big JOKE tried to support my own very disappointing it’s not even about the money do better
