Very nice atmosphere. Was much better when it opened. Now it is just average. Food not prepared by a chef. Just average. Better places around.
I love Redfish and it’s not easy to find. Everyone serves Red Snapper but Redfish is my fav. I’ve been here twice recently and love the blackened Redfish. They serve it other ways. I had okra that was crisp and delicious. Green beans were great. Service was outstanding!! Highly recommend.
Orderd the catfish and shrimp. Only recieved one piece of fish not 3. The one piece i did get wasnt done. Mom ordered the peel shrimp. All of the shrimp was mushy. Omg!! The only thing that was good was the potatoes. Never again!!! Now i have to find something eles to eat.????

This was our first visit and I was concerned when we first arrived for lunch on a Sunday and the place was almost empty. However both the service and the food were outstanding. The Salmon tacos were full of flavor and the best I’ve ever had. This will be our choice for seafood from now on. And thanks Grayson for the wonderful service!

I had a great meal here last night! I added salmon to the classic salad, and it was delicious! I tried the blood orange margarita and peach martini, both of which were superb!

the food and service was good, but our hostess reeked of cigarette smoke. it was so strong and still lingered near my table even after he walked away. terrible
I must say this was the worst food I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant, ever. Seriously. To begin, we didn’t know Rockfish was more or less a fast-food-sit-down restaurant. It read well online. Our waiter looked to be about 12 yo. He didn’t know a Cabernet from Chardonnay and very little about the menu. I ordered a 35$ seafood platter of fish, shrimp, oysters and something called “fried balls” which were shrimp and cheese rolled into balls and fried. Sounds good, right? Well, it was NOT GOOD! It tasted freezer burned. The oysters looked to be huge! I was impressed! When I bit into it, there was NO oyster to be found inside this massive fried breading. All three “ oysters” were the same. No oyster inside. The fried fish was tasteless. No seasoning at all. The 3 shrimp were eatable. When I asked about my choice of salad dressing, he said “Ranch”. I said “And? My other choices? Nope! Just ranch. That’s it. No other choices? Seriously? Okay, the Ranch it is! The salad was lettuce and ranch. Being that the night was already ruined, we decided to just call it a night. We left our plates, almost untouched. It was that bad. Just know that RockFish is a fast food restaurant. Period. Just bc you can sit down to eat does not indicate that the food is restaurant quality.
Great Place With Great Staff Will Return ?
Angie was the best waitress I’ve had in 20 years. Do what you can to keep her and keep her happy!!
