Everyone should stop by! Food is great. Great atmosphere. Manager, Heather, is awesome. Everyone should come today before they close for a pre-New Year's party stop.

Hyperinflation at the North Pole! Was here at Santa’s workshop w the kids last weekend. Kids drinks are very expensive (ie $10 for a tiny cup of sprite w some flavoring and mostly ice). It’s been a week now and I still feel like I’ve been hoodwinked - by Santa!

Perfect spot for the holidays! Come with your friends and/ or family. Amazing job creating a holiday atmosphere experience! Perfect for small bites and unique drinks. Any of the drinks are delicious! Our pics from this weekend: pomegranate margarita, wine drink (warm and perfect), lump of coal-Ada, bourbon hot chocolate. Must try their cheese curds and nuggets! We will be back before they close! The best service by far! Don’t miss it!

We were in the area for the McKinney holiday festival and this was a perfect place to stop in for a quick drink. The atmosphere is very rustic and feels like you’re in a 90s-2000s Hallmark holiday movie. There’s different themed sections of the bar like a Grinch themed area. The drinks are simple and cute. There’s no reservations, you just walk in, order at the front and find a table. They do have a limited food menu, the cheese curds and chicken tenders were great to snack on. They also have a kid friendly menu.

We had an amazing time here! I’m not sure what the other reviewer was expecting from a temporary restaurant that had only just opened. Should they invest in all new furniture and dish ware for 8 weeks of service? We didn’t see a single plastic cup either. All of our glasses were adorable. It’s located in the space where The Pantry used to be and they have done a great job decorating and providing photo backdrops. I was so sad about the fire at Rye but thrilled this group is staying in McKinney and coming back with a new theme. The pop up is temporary but they went all out decorating. The drinks were all creative and tasty, served in adorable cups and glasses. The chicken tenders were fantastic and the sauces also great. We were there on a slower night so the staff provided some off-menu items to sample. Everything was amazing! But honestly it was the service and staff that were above and beyond and really made the night special. They were checking on us constantly, making sure everything was perfect. If you are out shopping in McKinney or looking for a fun holiday evening, I whole heartedly recommend you pop in Santa’s Workshop, grab a cocktail, and take some Christmas photos.

We came in from Instagram advertising and were so UNDERWHELMED. The vibes were terrible and everything looked SO cheap. Paid over $34 for two drinks. One was served in a plastic children’s cup looking like it was from dollar tree. Old fashion was watered down. Old worn leather couches and cheap wooden tables. Looks like no effort or money was put into this. Nearly empty on a Friday because vibes are off. Can’t believe Rye would attach their brand to something like this.

Good food and service. The menu is creative. Definitely love the appetizers. Ambience is great. Love coming out for date nights.

Tried this place for a girls brunch. Decor was nice but food was quite okay. Service was good too.

We were lucky enough to visit this place before they sadly burned down. We were blown away by the food and the cocktails we had. The pork belly lollipops melted in our mouths, my husband loved the tacos and I fawned over the duck. The service was fantastic and this would have been one of our go-to date night spots. Hopefully they can rebuild soon!

Wow! Truly the food is five star. Three of us shared 6 plates which were more than enough. Cacio e Pepe and Corn-Ucopia and the pork belly lollipops were stand outs. Price pp with drinks and tip was $90 which was very fair. But our waiter was snotty. Before he even asked us what we wanted to drink, he started describing the menu. I politely asked him to hold off on that until we had an opportunity to get a cocktail and chat a bit. Clearly, he didn’t like that nor us as a result. Not very hospitable of him.

Best dining experience I've had in a while. Everything was beyond perfect. The restaurant itself is quaint and very well designed. The food is masterful, with burst of unique flavors that go so well together. We cannot wait for another date night at Rye.

We've walked by here on multiple occasions and have always been intrigued by the menu. Finally decided to go and was not disappointed. Madrid and Barcelona are my favorite places in the world to eat. Excellent fresh food, small plates to share, but you get to try multiple things, not just a lot of 2 or 3 things. Rye reminds me of that, minus the pig heads adorned in the window. ; ) We started off with a craft cocktail made to order. Then we splurged on the 11 course chefs tasting menu. Our server helped us with a nice bottle of Malbac to go with our tasting menu. The meal was a walk through culinary taste town. Every dish was unique in its own way. Never would I have ordered it or have thought to have cooked it on my own. But wow, every bite had an explosion of flavor, texture and presentation. I'm still thinking about it two days later. We've been fortunate to eat at a lot of great places. I rarely ever give out 5 stars. Rye gets one because of the unique out of the box food pairings, great helpful and courteous staff and relaxing environment. Check out Rye and try the tasting menu, you won't regret it.

Every meal here is an absolutely amazing experience, every single time I’ve visited. The staff is amazing, super knowledgeable, and always on their game. Food is always fabulous, and the menu rotates (while keeping the favorites) to offer new things each season. No meal would be complete without superb drinks - and the bar staff kills it here with every drink. 12 outa 5 stars - would massively recommend.

Very cute restaurant. They have small plates to share. Every dish was unique and had amazing ingredients! Definitely a great place to explore eccentric meals!

Can I give a place 6 stars? This place was spectacular. The Duroc Pork Belly Lollipops were one of the best bites I’ve had in a VERY long time. The barrel aged old fashioned was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and inviting. It is a little pricey if you’re looking for a lot of food, but very much worth it if you’re looking for quality of flavor. Make sure to buy the kitchen a beer when you visit!
