Their shakes are ok but not good. The Braums store next to them has awesome ice creams and shakes.

Let me be crystal clear: my experience at Shake Shack was one of the most laughably insulting meals I’ve ever had the misfortune of paying for. I’m not sure whether to be angry or impressed by their audacity.

I went in hoping for a solid burger and some good vibes. What I got instead felt like a social experiment in how little food a business can serve while still charging premium prices.

I ordered a ShackBurger, fries, and a drink. The burger showed up looking like it had just escaped from the kids’ menu – small, flat, and depressingly basic. The fries? Barely a handful tossed into a tiny cardboard cup like they were doing me a favor. I’ve seen more generous portions in elementary school cafeterias. And the taste? Meh. Nothing special, nothing memorable – just average fast food with a fancy name.

But here’s the kicker. We ordered pickles on the side. A $5 side of pickles. What did we get for that? Seven pickles. Seven sad little slices, barely covering the bottom of the cup. For five. actual. dollars. That’s 71 cents per pickle. I’ve bought entire jars for less.

At that point, I just laughed. Not because it was funny, but because I couldn’t believe I’d been conned that hard by a burger chain. Shake Shack, are you trying to see what you can get away with? Is this performance art? Because it sure isn’t hospitality, and it definitely isn’t value.

The whole place felt more concerned with looking cool than actually feeding people. Minimalist branding, overpriced food, and the kind of service that screams ā€œyou’re lucky we let you in.ā€ I walked out annoyed, still hungry, and out nearly $20 for what felt like a glorified snack.

Never again. If you like wasting money and staying hungry, Shake Shack’s your place. If not, go literally anywhere else.

These cheeseburgers were tiny and so overpriced $18 for what should have been on a kids menu! Won't be going back such a disappointment!

76$ for 4 people. The prices are definitely way too high for the quality food that they are handing out. Hardly and good options on the menu and the options they do have are just the same burger multiple times. Was highly disappointed in the cheese and bacon fries as the fries was simply covered in hard processed cheese (hard gas station nacho cheese) and it seemed almost store bought. The cheese on the burgers was almost the same and the only positive thing I’d say is that the fries were above average. The drinks are about as poor as the food, their lemonade is horrible and tastes like dishwater with lemon added, would not recommend anything here . Chicken tenders were so greasy that not even the one year old would eat them, out of the whole party, 2 of the 4 left sick. Had to pay 3.99 to get a ginger ale and refills are not free. Water tastes like tap water and they don’t have a drink machine. On the plus side the one person that was on the side cleaning and refilling drinks was very sweet and attentive and made sure we had what we needed.

My first visit to a shake shack was one of profound appreciation for the American fast food culture and the way it is heading.

Absolutely Terrible!! I realize food costs are high, but $75 to feed 4 people with only 2 sides of fries is ridiculous! Not to mention the burger was the sizes of a kids meal burger and was not very good at all. Also, we had to order ourselves on a kiosk and they had the nerve to ask if we would like to add a tip? For what?? Do yourself a favor and stick with the fast food chains. Better food, value, and service. I would give it zero stars if this would let me.
