I had the pleasure of working with Briana for the purchase of my first home last year. She was the best advocate that I could have had! Briana is thorough, extremely smart and knowledgeable about all things in the market. It put me at ease through the entire process knowing that she was on my side! She even checked in with me a year after the purchase to make sure that all is well and that I am getting the most out of my purchase and any warranties that I had upon buying my home. Shannon responded to my initial inquiry quickly! After our first conversation she got right to it! We were relocating from hours away and she went to our properties of interest as soon as I gave her the listings. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. It’s crazy how amazing it is

This review is for Shannon Thomas at Social Living Real Estate Boutique.I was looking for a home to rent for my family. After repeatedly getting no response from any available rental's listing agent, when I tried to inquire about the rental, I decided to see if I could enlist the help of a real estate agent to help us find a home to rent. At first, I couldn’t find anyone to do that either. Again, no response when I inquired by phone or online. But then I was literally walking down the street back to my car in downtown McKinney when I saw the sign for Social Living Real Estate Boutique. I popped into the office and talked to the first person I saw (Shannon Thomas). Shannon was happy to help us find a home. So, moving forward we did the usual, she sent us listings and we went and saw the ones we wanted to see (already much better than getting no response from listing agents).All was going smoothly, but here’s where Shannon went far and above what you could ever expect from a real estate agent; especially for a rental (not a sale). We changed our mind about what we were doing, and looking for, a few times. We also had special financial circumstances that had to be worked out with any prospective landlord. We even had to walk away from renting a particular house at the last minute. Through all of it Shannon never batted an eye. We were fairly picky as well and at times we’d take a month off just because we were tired of looking. But whenever I contacted Shannon with something we wanted to see, she came through immediately. Shannon was probably more determined to find us a home than we were. Whatever questions we had, she answered. When we wanted a real estate lawyer to look over a contract, she provided one immediately (when I could never get in to see a lawyer for weeks when I inquired). We are now in a lovely home in a great location and we have Shannon to thank for it. If it seems like I’m mentioning Shannon Thomas’ name repeatedly on purpose, you're right, I am. She was gracious, understanding, knowledgeable, prompt and determined. We want nothing but the best for her, can’t thank her enough, and would recommend her to anyone.

Sadly, the listing agent was not 100% honest and disregarded my circumstances as a widow. It’s a very cutthroat real estate business with very little regard for families. It seems to be all about them and not the people they are serving. I hope going forward they improve for the families looking to move to the area.

We used Social Living to sell our last home and buy our new one. Janet is very knowledgeable and made the process seamless. Would definitely use again.

This is not a coffee/waffle shop anymore. It is a real estate office

This place is so good! I got the Spiced Hot Chocolate and a Strawberry Heaven Waffle. The service is fast and great. It has a relaxing aesthetic and right in the McKinney downtown area.

Coffee was not that good. i didn't like it at all. It was very acidic. Service was pretty good. I only had coffee so I can't say anything about the food.

We were excited to try their waffles. Came by at 8:30am today (a Saturday) and they were closed. The website and sign on the door said they would be open and there wasn't a note on the door indicating they would be closed today, but the door was locked and the lights were off. Luckily there's a good donut place about 100' away that was open when they said they would be.
