Placed a take out order for pickup and man was this a wait I never expected. We placed an online order at 530pm. Now it was a Friday night but this was extreme. Food was scheduled to be ready at 6:00pm I walked in at 605. I left with my food at 650. Most people in the restaurant had been sitting when I arrived and still hadnt received their food before i left. I should have known to check my order after such a long wait. And of course once I arrived at home items were missing and some of them were cold. I absolutely knew better than to order from here due to the long wait times and inconsistent order fulfillment but I’ve been burned too many times now. Food is average at best so I won’t come back here and would recommend for anyone to avoid this place on the weekends. Terrible service and long wait times.

The food here is pretty unbearable. The Pad Thai is beyond bland despite ordering level 3 spice — literally no flavor. I was surprised this restaurant had 2 locations and even more surprised that it has so many 5 star reviews saying how “amazing” and “flavorful” the food is.
I think the restaurant needs to hire a chef that knows how to cook or revamp its recipes. Unless the goal is to be the “Cracker Barrel” of Thai food lol

I have been to Spoon + Fork Thai Kitchen in McKinney multiple times now after moving to the area, and every single time, I am just blown away by the amazing service from Natasha. The food is also so consistent and amazing. I had been a few times, but the most recent time a few days ago, I finally asked for her name just to write this review! Natasha is so, so attentive, always refilling drinks without us having to ask. She is SO friendly, and you can just tell that she keeps that restaurant running smoothly! She is zooming around helping everyone so fast, and I am just impressed. Natasha is the type of person I would want to hire! If you go to eat here, ask for Natasha! AMAZING food and even better service!

If you like Thai, then let me tell this the PLACE! We got there after freezing with the freaking texas temperatures and this place warmed our hearts with their and with the fabulous service of Mr. Tom. Got the Panang curry and it was delicious! thank Tom for making us for being so kind and funny!

We ordered takeout at 6:25pm and were told it would be a 35 minute wait. We arrived at the pickup time and did not receive our food until 7:38pm. At the restaurant, we were told the wait was because of our large order (of 5 dishes). If that’s the case, they should give their customers appropriate waiting times. Very frustrating and disappointing service for average thai food.
