I've lived in McKinney my entire life, and I've come to this Starbucks off and on for the last 12-13 years and I've always had a good experience...until today on 4/13/24. A Shift Supervisor by the name of 'Janice' - could've sworn her name tag said 'Darlana/Darlene' possibly was so incredibly hostile, unapproachable, and rude. It's like she took one look at me and targeted me for whatever reason. She was making drinks, not making eye contact, and each time she brought out mine, my sister's or my mom's orders--she was avoiding me completely. My mom and sister were waiting in the car with my nephew so I was picking up all of our orders. The Shift Supervisor didn't acknowledge me, cool maybe she's super focused on making other drinks. I said "thank you" in a bubbly and cheery voice with a smile. She doesn't say a thing, and again, doesn't acknowledge me whatsoever. I also ordered a pup-cup that blew over outside when I was carrying the drink holder out to my sister's car. So I go back inside and kindly ask for another pup cup from a different Shift Supervisor that was on duty at the time. I can't remember his name off of the top of my head. The Shift Supervisor with the tacky attitude looks at me, pulls a plastic cup out, slams it on the counter top, fills it with whipped cream, hands it to the other Shift Supervisor to hand to me, and then literally THROWS the metal whipped cream canister in the sink, and just glares at me. I was so appalled at her behavior and taken back. I finally asked her in a calm tone and concerned manner if she was okay. She said "Yeah...we always toss canisters in the sink this way." .....Yeah, OKAY. I walk out of the restaurant so angry I'm on the verge of tears. Tell my mom and sister about the interaction and finally talk myself into saying something before we left the parking lot. I go back inside and the super nice Shift Supervisor is in the corner pulling out a bakery item. I politely say "Hey there, I just wanted to ask what her name was." He hears me out. I ask for the DM's name and also grab the Store Manager's name. I've people led and managed in retail for 10+ years and just couldn't believe the service that was given to me. I would've never tolerated this sort of behavior from one of my team members. This would be an immediate documented discussion or written warning depending on if this has happened in the past or not. Definitely not someone I would hire or want on my team. Absolutely disrespectful and unappreciated.I genuinely hope whatever it is that set her off whether she's sick of working for Starbucks, has family issues, grieving something or someone--that she gets the time to grieve and/or heal. I know that Starbucks has amazing benefits and resources for their team members. Please provide her with them.

I went to this location about three times and it wasn’t so bad. The nature of the people was much better much nicer today I walk in and without any hesitation I’m spending about $15 and not even being complicated order was very simple and everything but the employees were so rude when I went back to get have this addressed after Class and because I had gotten in a car accident and I had mentioned it to them because my chai latte was overly spiced and it tasted disgusting. I went back you know when they were slow to kinda like talk to them about it I had the receipt only one step out of the drink and they were so rude so rude, so obnoxious rolling their eyes not being apologetic telling me that they made it like it had to be right because they made it OK then you drink it , you tell me what’s wrong with it because if we had that taste tested by They would never come back to Starbucks but the attitude it’s like Honey this is not some trash joint and if it is then OK, let’s not call Starbucks Starbucks anymore. Let’s add trash at the end of it.

I placed my order with barista near the blenders. I ordered Carmel ribbon crunch and walnut bread. I paid and received my bread, warmed up. A man and young woman came in after me and placed their orders. The man apparently is a regular customer because he received his TWO drinks before mine. The young woman too. I asked the barista where is mine. After another minute, I received my drink with a sorry other orders were placed before yours. Right. My bread is now cold.

Typical Starbucks experience. Coffee was good, service friendly and efficient, this one seems to stay pretty busy, so if you want quiet, you'll need your noise canceling headphones.

This is one of the slower service stores. The staff seemed to be having arguments with each other and out of the three behind the counter, only one was making coffee (the younger Hispanic guy). The older Caucasian lady was working hard on the food. The young African American was taking orders and disappearing in back when there was no line. 20 minutes and still waiting for 2 coffees. Uhg.Had to ask and they didn't even have our order. Worst Starbucks experience even. Never coming back here. Corporate should be ashamed.

This location doesn’t filled up your cup. You will get tall size amounts of coffee when you order the grande. Blond hair dyed Mexican girl was having a big attitude to get the order. I love Starbucks but never comeback at this location.

This location USED to have amazing service, however as of today I will not be going back to this location after ordering the same coffee for months and now they gave me a half cup of expresso in a venti cup with the rest full of ice. I can’t describe how upset I am and having the nerve to say nothing is wrong. This location has gone down hill and now has a manager that likes to argue with customers.
