We went to Starwood Cafe at Adriatica McKinney today (Sunday) for brunch and had such a great experience! The place is super clean, cozy, and welcoming. We walked in and were seated right away—no wait, which was a nice surprise for a weekend brunch.
Our server was Dessire and she was absolutely amazing. Super knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. Everything she suggested was on point!
I ordered the Migas with Bacon, and they were so flavorful—perfectly cooked eggs with onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños, all seasoned just right. It came with black beans that were rich and well-seasoned, crispy hash browns, and a warm sauce on the side. The fresh flour tortillas were soft, warm, and perfect for making little breakfast tacos. So good!
My boyfriend had the Country Style Fried Chicken Breakfast, which came with hash browns, two eggs, and a side of fluffy pancakes. He said the chicken was moist, crispy, and perfectly fried, and the gravy was full of flavor.
We also ordered a cappuccino and a latte—both delicious. And the freshly squeezed orange juice.
We’ll definitely be coming back and will for sure be asking for Dessire again. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area and looking for a delicious brunch with great service!

This was the 2nd time We've been there. This last one was just Ok.... took a super amount of time to get our breakfast. Ugh! It wasn't too busy so not sure why we had to wait so long 😩 ugh! The food was ok.

This was our first and only time at this location. The sausage and egg breakfast burrito with salsa on the side was very bland. It didn't taste like anything. How is that possible? Also, the sausage patties only tasted like black pepper. It was very odd that sausage didn't have flavor. The waffle was fine. Service was ok, not impressive. I wouldn't return to pay $12 for a tasteless burrito.

This is definitely my new favorite cafe spot. The food was delicious. I got the classic French toast- crispy edges toasty outside with a soft center… inhaled that thing. Gave me energy for my cardio workout after :) Our waiter was super sweet and the area that the cafe is located in is very very pretty. Got to sit and enjoy the view for a while after eating.

Starwood Café in Adriatica is an absolute gem for breakfast lovers! Their skillets are a must-try, loaded with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The French toast is perfectly golden and fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness. And to top it all off, the location is unbeatable—just steps from the serene Adriatica Lake. Pretty restaurant. Seated right away. Coffee was good. Unfortunately, Hash browns tasked like canola oil, the hollandaise sauce was so watery and bland I just ate my biscuit with jam. Our server was kind and smiled and got our food quickly, but did not check on us or offer more coffee until we were finished with our food despite restaurant not being even 1/4 full. Not inspiring.

Beautiful atmosphere over in the Adriatica with a nice staff. Food was good and so were the lattes. However the lattes were very sweet I thought. Would have preferred something less sweet but it was good. Overall a fun brunch spot.
