Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff, with several classic and unique menu options. I appreciate the items not containing gluten being marked on the menu, however, I am not confident the author of the menu truly knows what gluten is because the beef colorado taco is marked as gluten free, despite the beef description being braised with beer (which is almost always made with barley, and is not gluten free). Perhaps they had wheat free in mind, but that is a serious distinction for those with celiac.
The tacos themselves were ok, I asked for no cilantro or corn, but the tacos still came out with them anyway. I tried the chicken fajita, coco connection, and smoked chicken elote. They were pretty lacking in flavor and definitely could've used more seasoning. The coco connection was interesting, but the smoked chicken was just unappetizing. The chicken fajita didn't have the typical fresh grilled flavor you would expect.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience but I would recommend other local shops for tacos.

Mediocre is the first word that comes to mind here. The salsa came in small plastic containers and had no flavor. It was almost like water. I got the fajita nachos and the beef was just small chopped bits of beef and has little flavor. The queso and other ingredients were okay, but overall I’ve had much better. My daughter got the tacos and she said hers were okay, but not great as well. Our waiter was very nice and the restaurant seems very clean. I probably won’t try this place again since I like other local Mexican restaurants much better. Maybe I would come if in a group that really wanted to come. That would probably be the only thing that would bring me back.

$5 frozen margaritas on happy hour, $5! And they're good ones. And we happened to be ordering tortas which were the deal of the day. You can't beat that.

10/10 service as soon as I came in I found a place to sit and had my order taken right away. While I waited they gave out chips and salsa not to spicy just right. The burrito came out quick, it was nice and hot. The staff is very friendly made sure I was doing all right and everything. Definitely will be going back!!

The owner, Ignacio, is really nice and loves to cook up some great food. The food is very good! Chris was our waiter and he was great too. I don't know how long the place has been open definitely need to support this local business. And, they cater!

We stumbled across Taco Ocho and we have been back several times! I can truly say the food is beyond delicious, the service Ignacio provides the customer is so genuine and pleasant! I can’t say it enough that this is a place people should run too for a peaceful yet delicious meal!

Stopped in to grab emergency taco boxes for a business meeting I had. Mind you, this is an hour before the meeting started. These guys knocked out my order of 10 taco boxes for my customer’s employees in about 15 minutes. The customers loved them, especially the fajita steak tacos. They saved the day and I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately this place hasn’t been staffed to handle the influx of customers on a Friday night. One dedicated waiter for the entire place is a setup for failure for everyone. I served myself (grabbing utensils, ordering food, and didn’t get any water). Food came out quick but the service was non existent. Has been like this the two times I’ve been here. I feel bad for the other patrons who showed up and were expecting a baseline level of service that couldn’t be met.

Delicious food

This restaurant is truly a gem! The food is absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I ordered the Ensalada Ocho with ground beef and it exceeded all expectations.

But what really sets this place apart is the outstanding service — especially from Nacho! He goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of. Friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive, Nacho made the entire dining experience unforgettable. You can tell he genuinely cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does.

Between the amazing food and top-tier service, this spot is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back — and asking for Nacho!
