Food is super basic. They nickel and dime you here. I ordered 4 tacos and was given 1 salsa and was expected to pay extra for more. Each item is sold separately. 4 tacos w/rice and beans came out to be $20.

Nothing compares to Cd Juarez Mexican food. My family of 6 went there three adults two teens and one toddler. The taco meat was ok, but not delicious. The flautas were good but the avocado was not mix I to a guacamole it just just cut into pieces amd the sour cream was the poorest serving o ever seen. The large cocktail shrimp had a mix of large and small shrimps with two pieces of avocado on it. And they didnt even have Tapatio for it only Valentina. Not to mention the lemons where so yellow and dry. I order a kids plate which was the quesadilla plate unfortunately I though the meat was next not inside so I ended up ordering another one with just the cheese. They took about 15 -20 minutes to give it to me my kids where finish with their food while we were still waiting there. And I got charged a service fee. Which I wouldn't have minded but none once was I approach to see if I needed anything amd I had to go and ask for everything myselft. Do yourself a favor and save your working money. Please go to another restaurant were the food is good amd the service is top!!!!!

I had always heard the name of this taqueria and the truth is I didn't think it was such a big deal. You know, thanks for your food, it brought me back to my childhood, trying that flavor that you have, I really recommend it a 1000000 percent.

This place is such a great hole in the wall! I’ve learned since moving to the area that great Mexican restaurants are not all that easy to find. Today I was tired and a little hungry while waiting for my kid at his practice and this place was across the street so I figured I’d try it.
Absolutely delicious, the flautas were so good and their salsa verde did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly, I’ll absolutely be back with my family.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would!!
We got a torta standard but good.
BUT
the PAMBAZO oh my god was amazing!! I got beef but definitely recommend the chicken my son got the chicken and it was SO flavorful!
We also got a beef and a chicken Gordita the were so fresh and crispy they were amazing.
Tamarindo water was good as well.
We visit a new spot every Wednesday trying to find one we love and I think this is the winner so far! We have been to 27 taco places in the area for the last 27 weeks and I’m so excited about this one. Everything was fresh, hot and served with a smile!

Beef Torta was delicious
Pambazo is great! Giving it a 8/10! I was excited to try the Pastor tacos but they are just chopped up meat with semi Al pastor seasoning, I was expecting them to be on a trompo but oh well. I was not a fan of them (I'm used to the ones right off a trompo where the meat is cut off flat and semi crunchy)

The cashier walked away while I was mid way placing my order to help out another customer whose order was wrong.
My order was also wrong at first but it was corrected.
Al pastor tacos on flour tortilla were okay. The green salsa here is actually the best.
The cucumbers are different.

I went back here after a couple years for lunch. They have expanded. The food was not as tasty as I remember. Street taco meat was drier and meh. I added some salt and hot sauce and it improved slightly, but not as good as some other places.
It looks like there were some child care issues for the owners on the day we came in. We didn't mind the play in the aisle, but when the child put his tablet on the booth edge behind my wife's head to watch TV and dance a parent (owner or staff member) should have asked the child to not disturb the customers.
Also food was not hot as staff was busy when the kitchen put food out to be delivered.
I remembered the place from when I worked in Allen, but I wouldn't be going out of my way to eat here. Will also look for other places in McKinney for street tacos when I am in town.
