The absolute best place! Slowly but surely I've warmed up to this place! One of the best staff in Downtown McKinney so far!

This pub is the best this Lass has been to in Texas! Everyone treated us like family. (We reside in Oklahoma) the beers and queso were phenomenal! Thank you welcoming us in your pub. Cheers!

Love this place but the nerdy guy in the glasses sucks and short pours, also very unpersonable. Everyone else is cool.

Spent NYE at the Celt and it was da bomb!! Great music and atmosphere, but the real MVP’s were the bartenders on the top floor. They handled the crowd so well, and let me tell you, the lines were long! Great service, loved it 🤘🏼

The vibes are amazing, the food is delicious, and the drinks are good, best bar I've ever been to

My Facebook memories reminded me I came here for lunch 8 years ago and I realized I never left a review. Had lunch here with my wife. She had fish and chips and I had shepherds pie. Both were good. The atmosphere was as expected and very enjoyable. Made you feel like you were in a tavern overseas.

This place felt more like a dive bar than an Irish pub. The atmosphere was nothing special. There was only one waiter covering the entire top floor who he did a great job, but it was surprising to see such limited staffing.

Unfortunately, both the Guinness and Carlsberg tasted sour, and the cheesy Ulster fries were sour as well. My spouse and I ended up feeling sick for the rest of the day. We also noticed several other couples and groups around us only stayed for one round before leaving, which made us wonder if they were having similar experiences.

Overall, a disappointing experience and not somewhere we’d return.

Guinness, fish & chips, trivia or a local band; The Celt never fails to deliver! Staff treats yah like fam - warm hugs and firm handshakes.

Very friendly environment with staff, and fellow patrons. Occasional live music, a pool table in the upstairs bar, fair amout of seating for an intimate vibe of Irish welcome, at both the downstairs & upstairs bars.

They let their guests get too drunk beyond the point they can handle. Which results them letting the environment of the bar ruin the place.

if I could give this place one star, I would. nothing really wrong with the workers here but they allow their patrons to get so drunk that they get belligerent and start attacking the other patrons. zero out of 10 stars if I could, I will not be coming back

Hands down the best bar in Mckinney. Cozy setup downstairs run by one of the best bartenders I have ever met. His name is Na Humma. Remembered my name the next night when we came back. Dancing and pool tables on the second level. I will be back to McKinney, and I will be back to THE CELT. You won't be dissapointed
