The food here is not what it used to be. Hubs & I went for a Reuben sandwich and it was truly awful. Soaked with sauce and cheese with very little meat. The fries were cold and not crispy. Ugh!
This is the most real pub I’ve found in DFW. If you’re from Ireland or England wanting a comforting few pints, or went to school across the pond, this is the truest you’ll find in these parts. (If only they had Doombar)
The Celt is a crowded Irish pub, popular for its live performances. Don’t get on the bad side of some bartending staff/owners or you’ll be treated like shit forever. Other staff are amazing. Although it’s hard to find seating, it’s easy to make friends given the “cozy” setting. If crowds and small spaces aren’t your thing, skip it or stay downstairs where it’s less crowded with no live music.
