The Garage was already our “Cheers” thanks to Chavonne, but she has taken it up a notch with “Karaoke on Kentucky St.” A fun and engaging atmosphere with the garage door open and everyone cheering on one another. Even if you don’t sing, this is the place to go and have a great time while meeting your fellow McKinnians.

We just moved to Princeton and this is actually one of the best Mexican restaurants I have eaten at since moving from south texas!! The food is excellent and I’m not sure about all the not great reviews but I give 5 stars and Val is phenomenal!!!

Casual quiet spot for drinks and eats. The food menu is from Spoon Cafe next door. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The food was unremarkable. The drinks were quite good.
Wanted to like this place but didn't like that my cocktail drink was literally taken out of a fridge (pre-made) and was super sweet, I had the midnight in Paris. Service wasn't the best and not a good experience, won't be coming back.

We chose to eat here since our favorite place downtown (Hugs) was closed. My wife and i shared the club sandwich on sourdough with a side of potato salad and our daughter got the #1 breakfast for kids. The sandwich was okay, nothing special. The potato salad to me was too sweet. I am not sure if its homemade but tasted like it came from Sam's or Sysco. My daughter liked the pancakes but they needed the syrup since they had little to no flavor. She wasn't a fan of the scrambled eggs. We gave it a go but i dont believe we will revisit.

The Spoon was to capacity so we went around the corner to The Garage. Super cool surroundings. Great service and yummy 3 color nachos!!! The Garage door was open for nice, fresh air!!!

We were in the mood for sand and soup and it was a beautiful fall day to head to Historic Downtown McKinney. We had eaten several times at Spoons and always enjoyed the food. There was a line for tables and the hostess directed us around the corner to The Garage. We had no idea they were connected! This "adult" side of the restaurant has a full bar and indoor/outdoor seating. My husband had his tomato soup and I had my favorite club sandwich with fries. (The shape of the fries somehow made them taste even yummier!) Hamburgers are good here too. Friendly service and lots of smiles. Highly recommend! Y'all make a note of this McKinney favorite and stop by!
