Today I visited this location in McKinney on University Dr. I frequent this location very often because my daughter Loves Tropical Smoothie and the location is convenient for us. I have never experienced what I experienced at this location today. The atmosphere and the energy was very different. I was approached at the counter by the “Owner”, I asked if there were any cafe specials for the smoothies like during football season. The guy looked at me like I had said something foreign, as if there aren’t things that are ALWAYS advertised in the app. I then repeated the question stating that during football season they were advertising 90 cent smoothies with the purchase of a food item. He looked at me with the most disgusting look and said “No, not at “MY” (he made sure he placed emphasis on “my”) cafe. We don’t do that”. I was so caught off guard by his response that I was completely speechless. It’s not always what you say but, HOW YOU SAY things. His disposition was so rude and unprofessional. I looked him directly in his eyes and told him that I was not going to order anything and left “HIS” cafe. His energy let me know that my business was not wanted and I took it elsewhere. Directly across the walkway to Panera Bread where the service was much better. This was such a huge disappointment because now I have to explain to my daughter why we won’t be patronizing this business in the future.

One of a few places with an acai bowl in the area and actually a pretty decent one. They also have a variety of smoothies and other healthier options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service was fast and courteous. Small but neat and clean area.

I did online order for in store pickup and ordered a smoothie. Easy enough, picked up my shake and enjoyed it. The parking can be a little hectic as they are in a strip center with multiple businesses and literally ONLY have handicap parking in front of their shop. Also, it's not something I would do very often considering my shake with one add on and a small tip cost me almost $10.

Thai Chicken Wrap was perfect! Acai Bowl was also very good. Relaxed atmosphere with very good service! Highly recomended.
