Union Bear Brewing - McKinney

Our waitress was outstanding, friendly, and truly dedicated to giving us the best possible service. Food was really outstanding, but flatbread was slightly overdone (burnt crust) on one end. It happens. We continue to visit 2-3 times a month as our Friday evening happy-hour/date-night and really enjoy this convenient neighborhood gem.

We have dined here several times. Last night the noise level was great because it wasn't too busy. Other times it has been difficult to have a conversation due to the noise level. Food has been excellent every time!

Enjoyed our dinner near a big screen of NFL playoff football. Food is very good, reasonably priced and lots of local beers to choose from. Our server Nate was friendly, attentive and efficient.

Good meal, reasonable price. Our table was ready when arrived. Enjoyed our waiter, polite and a sense of humor. Look forward to returning again soon.

We dined here on the day of the McKinney Christmas Parade. The place was busy but service was great. Food was wonderful. We had the Brussels sprouts for an app and they were great. We added a side of blue cheese crumbles that kicked them up to the next level. Then we shared the Boss Hog. It was fantastic. Great crust, sauce and perfect amount of cheese. We left went to the parade and enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back and enjoyed the outdoor turf area with a fire pit for a nightcap. Great place. Great food. Great service.

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here and it was FANTASTIC! Absolutely perfect! Trey and Alex (esp Trey) were amazing to work with and so helpful and friendly. They printed special menus with our choices of entrees plus the appetizers and desserts we chose. The Servers assigned to us couldn’t have been better; so attentive and responsive, and very friendly! They helped us hook up our slideshow to run in the background plus our playlist. Bonus was it was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Highly HIGHLY recommend for any event or just dinner. Their food is amazing

The food and service at Union Bear are worth bragging about, a great variety offered and every entre served to our group was exceptional. The service was outstanding although they were busy with the after holiday crowd.

Love this spot! I have always had excellent servers here! The cocktails are delicious and the menu is smaller with a good variety and each dish tastes as though they have perfected it! The ambience is cool and modern. Be sure to get a reservation as it is often busy!

We like going to Union Bear as it feels like a local pub/restaurant. We have had the same lovely server each time and have been so thrilled. The drinks are very good and the food is also good.

We had the best experience! The food and services were a 10/10 and there was a wedding party that came in and the father of the Groom, Vaughn, paid for our dinner. He did not have to and if anyone knows Vaughn personally, tell him Chad and Lindsey Pennington say thank you again

-2 bc I was charged $3 extra to add ricotta to the rigatoni (that was $18 for what tasted like a frozen dinner) and they did like 4-5 dime sized dollops. guys be so fr rn.

We really love Union Bear! The cocktails are fantastic, their beers are very good, their food is delicious, and the 3 times we've been there the service has always been friendly and on point. We love the vibe indoors, they have a great outdoor patio for when the weather is nice, and we found ourselves hoping there would be a wait for a table so we could sit out in the turf area and relax with a couple of drinks first ;-)
Vegetarians: try their falafel burger, you will NOT be disappointed!
