Ordered a 20 oz iced americano and the almond croissant. Barista gave me a 16oz iced americano. And when I asked about it, she said it was the 20 oz, but clearly saw the larger cup on the counter. The almond croissant was slightly warmer on the outside with the center filing ice cold. I wasn’t going to ask for anything to be made right because they are sloooooow. And to top it off, they are VERY expensive. I paid over 20.00 for the americano and croissant. Not worth it.
Bourbon vanilla latte is not it, I struggled to finish it since it was $8. It’s annoying that the menu has no prices listed. I had to park across the field, there is limited parking nearby. As a first timer I had a hard time finding the coffee shop inside the building.
Im pretty sure they have the best espresso in the North Dallas Area. Okay selection on snacks. Nice place to hang out or work if thats what you need.
Blueberry Cheesecake Matcha Hot with a side of Coffee Cake!!! Thank me later, this combination is to die for. The atmosphere and ambiance of the coffee shop is top notch. The young lady at the register was so helpful and friendly. Excellent establishment, can’t wait to visit you all again!!
The drinks were delicious and the coffee shop was beautiful! It was a nice environment to sit and drink a coffee. The service was not great. The two barista girls were snickering at my friend for taking a minute to pay while she got her Apple Pay sorted out. One of those same baristas asked my friend to pick up someone else’s trash outside of the building, which I found odd and rude to ask of a customer. Other than that, I enjoyed this coffee shop and would probably return!
Found a new favorite! 🤎☕️
Stopped by this gem inside McKinney’s Old Cotton Mill and WOW:
– Iced pistachio latte? 10/10, no notes 💚
– Orange pastry? Out. Of. This. World.
– Kids’ area was a dream: books, a full pretend kitchen—ny daughter was happy.
– I got 2 hours of focused work done without even noticing time pass. Peaceful and productive? Yes please.
– Bathroom was spotless—mamas, you know that matters.
– The whole space is clean, cozy, and beautiful.
– There’s even a garden with a waterfall outside—gorgeous… but summer bugs? I’ll pass 🦟😂 (if you’re braver than me, go enjoy it!)
Highly recommend 100%. Already planning my next visit 🙌🏼
Good coffee. The menu has no prices which I found very odd.
Natural tea and coffee shop. I ordered Hibiscus tea and it was very good.
They have a lavender tea here that I absolutely love! I usually take mine to go and walk around the old cotton mill, but there is seating and a kid play area. I would not say it’s quiet, but it’s not horribly noisy either.

I can’t seem to find enough words to describe this cute cafe ? Located beside the Mckinney Cotton Mill in the Arts district ✨The modern aesthetic theme of the cafe really uplifts you as soon as you walk in, and the cozy seating is definitely a plus.
They roast their own coffee and have them available for purchase if you’d like to experience their amazing coffee at home ? As for the matcha, they use ceremonial grade matcha, and you can truly taste the quality with every sip. They offer a variety of unique pastries as well, that monkey bread is to die for ?
The owner and barista were so friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better ?
If you’re in McKinney and don’t already know about this gem, I definitely recommend!

we finally got around to trying this place and as a coffee fan, i was really impressed by the quality. the americanos were strong as they should be. it was a bit pricey, but the quality matches and the environment is beautiful. i grew up in the area and am glad to see a lovely little coffee shop in this historic mckinney building!

I love their rum mocha. It's just the right amount of sweetness (about half as sweet as most sweet drinks at Starbucks, for reference.) Lovely atmosphere and kids friendly!
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' corner for them to play. It has a play kitchen, books, and even a little tablet with games on it.

This is my 3rd time visiting White Box Roastery and I have yet to enjoy my coffee. The coffee tastes watered down, just not good. The coffee shop itself is beautiful and aesthetic, but that's about it. I came a 2nd time because I wrote off the first time as a fluke and it was going to be better, it was not. This 3rd time I went I told myself the second time had to be a fluke as well, and I was wrong, still not good. : (
