A very good find for us. Friendly and polite staff which is hard to find these days. Food was awesome!

We had a delicious dinner, trying many of the dishes on our first visit.
Service and food were excellent by any standards.
Can't wait to return and try some other menu items.

Great food and people....also my dad (86) stops in to pick up take-out every Wednesday after church choir practice, and they always take great care of him.

I recently dined at Zaza Thai in McKinney, and while the food itself was quite good, the overall dining experience left much to be desired.
The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing authentic Thai tastes. However, the service didn’t match the quality of the food. Our appetizers were not brought out at the start of the meal as expected, and desserts—an integral part of any dining experience—were missed entirely because the kitchen closed without notice or even a courtesy check-in. This lack of communication was disappointing and gave the evening an abrupt and unfinished feel.
While I appreciate the effort in crafting delicious food, the service aspect needs significant improvement to ensure a complete and satisfying dining experience.
Merry Christmas to the team at Zaza Thai! I hope to see some positive changes on my next visit.

It’s changed. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or what the deal is. Tonight’s visit was the final straw. It was so loud in there I could hardly think. I literally had to call the restaurant to get some service because they were taking too much time with their friends and ignoring the customers. Again so loud the servers couldn’t even concentrate.

We’ve ordered from Zaza Thai many times before, but our most recent experience was the worst we’ve ever had. We ordered a Massaman curry and flat noodles with tofu, explicitly requesting no fish or meat oils in the preparation.
When we got home and opened the food, the noodles had a strong smell of fish or meat oil, making them inedible. The curry was watery and contained only soft tofu with less salt. We ended up not eating the food and cooking at home instead.
The next day, I called the restaurant to share my experience and brought the receipt and food as proof that it wasn’t edible. Unfortunately, I was met with rude behavior—they started yelling at me, despite the fact that I didn't raise my voice and I was the one who had paid for the unsatisfactory food. It became clear that they didn’t care about the food quality or customer service.
The food quality at Zaza Thai has noticeably declined in the recent time, and the rude customer service makes it not worth visiting anymore.
If you’re looking for good Thai food, I recommend Tahn Thai in Stacy or Thai Pan in Allen instead.

Great flavor and pieces. Liked that they bring you lemon water with a small pitcher and that it actually tastes lemony. I'll be coming back for more. The place seems to be popular for take out.

Really great food and a nice, intimately dark atmosphere.

The crispy spring roll is really good.
The Pho was uneatable - the noodles were all sticking together. The beef was in huge chunks.
The other noodles dish we ordered was flavorless and the extra Jalapeño we ordered and was charged for - was a no-show.
The worst part was that even after I called they just didn’t care that 2 out of 3 dishes we had to throw away.

BY FAR the best Thai restaurant in McKinney in terms of food and price. No other place comes close. I've been to Thailand many times, and I try every new Thai place that opens in McKinney. I hope they don't become too popular and change.

Used to be affordable and really good, but we just spent $60 on 2 spring rolls and 2 meals (already unreasonable) and the food is nothing like what it used to be. The prices keep going up and the food has not gotten better. It’s gotten worse.
We used to love going here. We’d get it multiple times a week. Not anymore. Such a bummer.

ZAZA Thai restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that hit the spot every time. I especially love their Thai tea-it’s so fresh and refreshing. The atmosphere is luxurious and welcoming, and the cleanliness is top-notch, which adds to the overall dining experience. It’s conveniently located close to my spa, making it the perfect place for me to stop by for dinner after a long day at work. Highly recommend!
