Excellent steaks! These folks know how to grill your steak! It's a real hometown, home cooking feel. What can I say about steak. If the chef can cook it to the desired temp and season it to where it had flavor, what more could be done? A town of 600 people this place is a gem!!! I've eaten three several time never disappointed. I've had the ribeye, new york strip, and the filet... everytime we were satisfied with our steaks. They have always been cooked to our liking and seasoned perfectly. They have great homemade ranch dressing. If you are traveling down I-40, look up Mclean Texas: and if it's Tuesday thru Saturday at lunch or dinner, you'll be glad you stopped there. Nope, don't work there; just really like their steaks. lol. Ya'll have a super duper day! Peace ✌️

Heading back to Ohio after a two week road trip, came upon this establishment for a bite to eat after driving all day. My friend and I reaction to walking in was what a cute place, and very clean. Restaurant was not busy at all, we got our meal really quick. Each of our checks came to roughly around $24. We both paid with cards, each left 5.00 tip which was well within 20%. Got on our merry way down the road and few hrs later stopped off In Oklahoma for an overnight stay. My friend received 2 texts alerts from her bank verifying if she made a purchase from this establishment, one was her meal purchase which was around 24.00, the second stated 5,005.00. Therefore, the server entered her tip as 5,005.00 dollars, not 5.00. The 5,005.00 was removed from my friend's account. It was late, unable to reach bank until morning. Issue is still being resolved. We visited October 3, 2025. Let's just say, this place left a bad taste in our mouths and we will never visit again. As for you, well that's your choice. I recommend pay cash if you do.

Food was good. Fries were over salted. We enjoyed our first time. It was our 36th wedding anniversary.
Stopped here for dinner. It was the only place in town open. Wasn't very busy for a Friday night so I was seated right away. Lots of good choices on the menu. I ordered the Red Mud Chicken. What I didn't realize is that it is a 4 course meal. First a loaf of fresh baking bread shows up, followed by a salad, then the main course. And when you can't eat anymore a warm Cobbler shows up. Everything was excellent. Personally I felt bad at wasting 3/4 of the loaf of bread. My server Sally was great too. Very happy I stopped here, highly recommend.
