I stopped by on my way to work to order 6 breakfast tacos this morning because my boss had clued me into this place. The food was excellent, but the service was SO AWFUL that I will likely never go back.
I arrived at 8:47 with no one in line for drive thru, no one asking for orders to go, and very few seated customers. I ordered 8 breakfast tacos and expected to wait maybe 10 minutes.
I watched 3-4 cars pass through the drive thru and exit, but still no food. I inquired about status, and waas told that they were backed up with phone orders. I waited and stewed. After 25 minutes, my food arrived. I had already told them that I found the wait time ridiculous, and they seemed completely unphased. I asked if I should have done drive through, and they shrugged and said, "its Friday, so lots of call-in orders. You have a nice day!" Not an ounce of sympathy or apology. And that was from what I think was the manager. I took my order and told them that I'd probably never be back, and there was no real response.
Maybe I'll return and try drive thru - the food was great. But to see such disdain for a frustrated first-time customer is just remarkable.
Shame on your manager, Pica Taco! I long for that time, pre-Covid, where service businesses sometimes gave a crap about service.

They used to be good and fresh. Now they're using day old food that's dry and burnt and charging as if it's fresh. Hate watching good restaurants get complacent. Unfortunately this will be my last visit.

Food could use a little more seasoning on pork chops but were grilled perfect, service was great and Mia who was my waitress was awesome, had great attitude and attentive. This was my first time here as I was in town for work. I will eat here again when back in town.

I have been going to Pica Taco for Years, Since they were at the gas station. I LOVE the food here. The Carne Guisada is amazing! Any chance i get to eat here.. I do. I would 1000% recommend eating here.

I love pica taco♡ the most amazing tacos for a reasonable price :)Edited to add- they are the only taco place where they greet me by name and will specifically make my bacon soft on my tacos just because I ask for it :) they really are amazing, family oriented, loving, people :)Edited to add- the girl with the piercings at the window and every single employee there are amazing souls Inside and out. Everyone has a rough day from time to time. Give grace where grace is due?

I think I caught the gal with multiple piercings in the drive through on a really bad day. She had me wait for quite some time before willing to take my order. Very short, slamming the drive through window after any interaction. Food was okay, but over priced for what you get with the attitude from staff.
