I've eaten there twice already and both times the food was great and the servers and friendly and kind.
I was in town for a business trip with my colleagues and we dined here twice during our week stay. I ordered the salmon/shrimp risotto and the chicken fried steak. Both dishes were incredible. The salmon is great if you want something a bit more light and the chicken fried steak was the best I’ve ever had. The pepper in the gravy was notable and tied in all the flavors.

Stopped in for lunch and had a solid visit. The chicken sandwiches were tasty and the service was good throughout.

Based on the reviews, Silver Spur Steakhouse & Saloon is an amazing step up for Menard. The food, service, and atmosphere are top-notch. The filet, homemade mashed potatoes, 16 ounce ribeye, and chicken fried steak are delicious and cooked perfectly. The bread pudding is a must for dessert. The restaurant has an amazing outdoor space, a cute little store, and a full bar. The atmosphere is stunning, with indoor and outdoor dining, fireplaces, and even karaoke. The food was slow coming but was worth the wait. It is a cute and clean place that tops anything in San Angelo.
