Based on the reviews, Silver Spur Steakhouse & Saloon is an amazing step up for Menard. The food, service, and atmosphere are top-notch. The filet, homemade mashed potatoes, 16 ounce ribeye, and chicken fried steak are delicious and cooked perfectly. The bread pudding is a must for dessert. The restaurant has an amazing outdoor space, a cute little store, and a full bar. The atmosphere is stunning, with indoor and outdoor dining, fireplaces, and even karaoke. The food was slow coming but was worth the wait. It is a cute and clean place that tops anything in San Angelo.
