I ordered to go once from here. It is within walking distance of my friend's house. Ordered chicken alfredo and took it home to eat later. By the time it had cooled it was a mass of congealed oil and fat. On heating it, the grease could be poured off, but wqs still way too greasy to eat. Tossed it in the trash. I'm not from the RGV so I'm not a fan of greasy fatty foods like most people here are.
I cannot stress enough how much I was shocked by this place. The most unassuming facade you could find on a pizzeria, but nonetheless spectacular eats.
If you go, get the Stromboli. An almost unbelievable value for money and exceptional quality, even compared to the standard faire in New York.
If you find yourself moving through Mercedes, it is a disservice to yourself to not stop here. 10/10 stars.
It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised!! The service was very good, they kept checking in with us to see if there was anything that we needed!! The price was very reasonable! And it tasted really good! We’ll definitely be back!!
