Great place to unwind and study! Espresso was on point, Guatemalan Bean's had a beautiful froth when pressed! Went with one of the signature lattes. Had honey and cinnamon, really proved to be a flavorful blend. The staff was very helpful and fast. Place has great art as well. Kudos to Victoria and Marshall for they're hard work and great leadership from Jared!!
Loved everything from the vibes to the drinks. I had the toasted marshmallow latte and my husband had a cinnamon brown sugar. Will return soon!

Ordered 2 Horchata this morning. El oso was bad. Taste mostly of milk and had a wierd taste. Ive bought previously months ago. Even bragged to them about it being the best I've had. Someone dropped the ball today.

**Bear Cave: Where Did the Bear Go?!**
Bear Cave used to have a cozy charm and felt like there was a real community. From its furniture pieces to its art, it was truly a unique spot.
I have no complaints about the new staff, but I miss the old guys. I am not entirely sure if they left with the management change or are still around.
The coffee is meh—it's functional, but that's about it. It works for coffee, but it’s just meh. They used to have regular specials, but now have opted to change out for only the popular items and making those old specials seasonal.
Overall, it’s a cookie-cutter coffee shop now—nothing special, nothing to brag about. For those who missed out on the old experience, you truly missed the secret charm of Mesquite. Now, all we have is a cave with nothing left on the walls, and the bear has moved on.

Loved the burgers and coffee. Only complaint is that when we walked in there was 4 girl’s working and only 2 other families dining and it took them at least 15 minutes to seat us, the food took a good while to be brought out and drink to be refilled. We will definitely not go there again.

Used to love coming here often but seems like there’s been changes, the baristas are rude. You ask for recommendations or questions regarding their drink menu and their response is the bare minimum with no enthusiasm or energy. Quality has gone down, definitely won’t be coming back.

I visited Bear Cave for the last time today. I’m honestly so disappointed in what this coffee shop has become. It used to be one of my favorite spots — great drinks, kind baristas, and an overall welcoming vibe. But ever since it was taken over by the new owners, everything has gone downhill. The coffee tastes burnt or watered down half the time, and the pastries are stale. There’s zero warmth, which is sad because that used to be what made this place special.
It’s clear the new management has no idea how to run a coffee shop with any sense of quality or community. I’ve given it a few chances since the change, but every visit has been worse than the last. Save your time and money — there are plenty of other local coffee shops that actually care about their customers and serve coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting out all morning.

I went today for a sun bear and the guy told me they could do it but instead of making it with caramel it would be salted caramel so I got the pumpkin spice latte instead it was okay .. kind of disappointed with the new changes.
Coffee here is great, haven't had anything here that I didn't like. Staff is very friendly and were great at answering my questions.

Not the same anymore. This used to be our favorite local coffee spot but they’ve changed everything. The coffee isn’t good anymore. We’ve given it a chance twice since the change, thinking maybe they just burnt the coffee that day but nope, our drinks don’t taste the same. They also went up on the prices and have only one size which would’ve been fine for us if the drinks tasted the same. The seating and decor in there used to be cozy but they replaced the comfy seating to fit more uncomfortable mass produced chairs and tables in there. I understand changing a few things for more profit but when you change everything, you’re going to lose your regulars.

I have now been twice and each time was so good. Everyone is so polite and it’s clean and the drinks and food are very good. The employee who I ordered with even brought my coffee to where I was sitting. The breakfast burrito that I had was so good, as well as the croissant. I highly recommend. My favorite is the salted caramel latte. 10/10 recommend. Much better than other major corporation coffee places.
