I’ve been here a couple times before and loved this place. My boyfriend especially loves the ostiones preparados, they have fish ceviche on them and other stuff. Tell me why this time we come in and order them, they have shrimp on them. Wouldn’t have had a problem except we noticed after eating a little bit that the shrimp was raw. Called over the waitress to tell her and she told me that it’s shrimp cooked in lime juice, like aguachile. But I’ve made aguachile before and the shrimp, once finished cooking in the lime juice, it still turns pink and becomes mushy due to the acidity. This shrimp was GREY and firm, you could still see the veins on it. Because we were in a rush, we just said whatever and payed for them. But I wish she would have apologized and taken accountability instead of charging me $24 for something inedible. Will not be coming back

last night my husband and i along with my grandkids were starving after a long day in Irving , we drove to mesquite at midnight to eat , we were greeted by a rent a cop who told us the place was closed even though website and door hours state 2 am . he said we’re closed and walked back in . I will tell everyone I know not to waste their time and we won’t either . change your hours !

At first when we got there I skeptical, there was no cars in the parking lot and the place next door was crammed packs. When we went in it felt a little akward, the music was way too loud for our liking. Just didn’t feel right, I will say me and my husband were not a fan of the chips and salsa. We ordered two rolls and the burger to share, which was amazing. Like bar far some of the best we’ve had. Other than everything else was great.
Prices: food seemed like anywhere else. However, We ordered two diet cokes and we were charged $6.00 a piece per drink. That’s crazy 😱 we didn’t get any alcoholic drinks but I’m sure they are over priced as well.

Okay, so this is just me. But I don't understand why a mexican food restaurant did not have that much mexican food on their menu. We ended up leaving and did not order lunch. This seems like a great place to go in the evening for drinks and music and a different kind of food. That's more modern. They had a lot of different types of appetizers, sushi, and a few different types of mexican food. I would definitely review their menu online before you go, just to be sure It's what you're looking for.
They had a large area at one end. That was apparently for a band so I can only assume that this was like a mexican bar modern type restaurant.
Not your typical mexican food restaurant for sure.

Everything was good but the aguas frescas are tooo expensive 9.00 for Jamaica really? Is more expensive than a bottle of beer 7.00 But the atmosphere was good.
