Dia De Los Tacos

I normally don’t do this, but Maria, the owner, really set me off. I spend money at this restaurant every week,sometimes two or three times since my injury. Today, I got a ride to the facility and placed an order totaling about $78. One of my orders was the Birria taco plate, which is usually amazing, but today it was overcooked and burned.

When I called the restaurant to express my disappointment, she had the nerve to tell me to bring it back. I explained that I’m not mobile due to my injury and had to get a ride. The right thing to do would have been to allow me to send a photo as proof of what they served me. Instead, she insisted that I had to bring the plate back for a replacement, even after I told her I wasn’t mobile.

I explained that I’d prefer to have it remade and could send someone to pick it up, but I wasn’t going to inconvenience anyone by making them come to my house to grab the plate, take it back to the restaurant, and then bring a new one back. As I was venting to my family about how I just wasted money on food I couldn’t even eat, she inserted herself into my conversation and told me not to talk to her like that. I told her I wasn’t even talking to her, and she had the audacity to say I should’ve made that clear.

At that point, I went off, and she decided to hang up. So let’s be clear: you messed up my food, inserted yourself into my conversation, and then couldn’t handle my frustration. I requested a refund, but instead of handling the situation professionally, she kept trying to tell me how to talk. Lady, you messed up my food, just provide good customer service. I even offered to send a picture as proof. I don’t have time to call and complain for no reason, I wanted to enjoy my Birria tacos, but they were burned.

How about you offer to pick up the plate and bring me a fresh one? Then, she had the nerve to say she was recording the call. I said, Good! Because it needs to be known that you don’t take care of your customers when you serve them burned food that they paid for. Very disappointed in their service.

Real nice people but to be honest I didn’t like the food ,I got me a fajita quesadilla and it was dripping lot grease .

The hours of operation are weird but lawd....the food is soooooo good. They are nice and very professional. They greet you when you walk in. I just discovered this place from a coworker and this place can take all of my money!!!!!
