I have been dining there for approximately 25 years. I mostly go for luncheon. The food is a tasted filled treat. I have tried many of their items , yet l just get my favourite. The # 9 ... the Mateo. Fried burrito bites, salad and Spanish rice. It is delicious. They give you complimentary salsa and chips and a small bowl of bean soup. The soup is such a nice treat.The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant. You can see the town square and gazebo. Come by and experience a taste of Mexico in downtown Mesquite.

Th8snis my 2nd time and I was not disappointed. The salsa is delicious and my nachos came out flaming hot. There seem to be a lot of regulars at this spot and the older waitstaff runs this show. Great job!!!

True Authentic Mexican food served with a smile. We go for lunch often as we work in area. No need for menu as I know what I want after trying almost everything couple times, chicken enchiladas!!! I love chicken enchiladas. Wonderful plate and great food.

Dos Panchas has seen better days. I used to eat lunch here when I was at MHS, 25 years ago. Since then the place has changed a lot, but I’ll acknowledge that it’s an affordable Tex-Mex place in the historic Mesquite downtown square. Some will like the no frills, family owned vibe, but I think the place could level up tremendously with some minor upgrades and light remodeling.

I had the Tostada plate for lunch & it was ok. Not much you can really do to mess that up. The salsa was watery, not even remotely spicy & not much flavor at all. My server was friendly enough & the place looked clean. My server didn’t come back to check on me in a timely manner after my food came out. She came back around after about 10-15min or so.
