I'm a long time customer. Just moved to mesquite and decided to visit Cartwright location. Bought a family meal and 6 extra rolls. When I got home the rolls were missing. We had enough for the meal so figured i would go back next day. I had the receipt but they refused to give me the rolls. There are other places that serve chicken. I won't be back. Too bad..

Visited this location tonight and I have to say this will be my last. According to the past 6 months of all reviews basically addressing the same issue of quality of food which means there has been no corrective actions taken. I purchased 2 tender combo meals with fried okra as my side. The okra was hard and dried out as if it had been under the heating lamp half the day, the roll was dry and harder than a biscuit. I immediately took it back and encountered a rude manager Natalie who basically in my face told me it was still good and fresh I encouraged her to touch it and see for herself. Never once apologized for the inconvenience nor assured me she would make it right. I received another batch of okra that was sitting in the bin already and 2 more hard rolls. Needless to say none of the food wasn’t fresh. They may need a health inspection to take place real soon.

Got 3 dozen rolls to take to a dinner. They threw a dozen in each paper bag. They came out wadded up in a ball of dough 😡 NOT how we wanted to present rolls at a dinner party!!! Won't be back to this location!!! It cost over $30 to serve wadded up rolls.

Went last night. After waiting 7 minutes for the car in front of us to place their order at the speaker, we pulled up and was instantly told to please wait one moment. Okay. I’ll give you a second to maybe talk about what I assume was a big order from the people in front of us. But to wait 5 more minutes at the speaker and nothing, is beyond ridiculous. Didn’t even order, as I drive off I can see employees sitting in the lobby eating and inn their phones. Beyond horrible customer service.

I was about to give a low Star and a bad review because, I had a bad experience just now in the drive thur, and i prayed all the way back to my office, debating on if I will return here, my kids eat golden chick every other day and I get it for my wife least 3 times a week the same meal tender combo big red. God told me to call and talk with the manger and the Asst. Mgr. was nice so my spirit feels better now. A word of advice to all of us in the (Customer Service Field) its not hard to be nice for 3mins. especially if your getting paid for it. We all have bad days but not on the clock, not even me. They pay me to be nice and smile and thats what i do. Again Thanks Asst. Mgr. for saving a customer!!!!!!!!

I've tried the Hot Honey Sriracha dish at other locations where it was much better. They are supposed to fully coat the chicken in the sauce and then cook it in the sauce. It comes out really good when they do that. But here all they did was drizzle a little of the sweet sauce over the chicken afterwards. When you pick up the piece of chicken it is completely dry underneath, so you can tell all they did is sprinkle a little sauce on afterwards. They took short cuts in the preparation of my food and it showed. Also the sticky dining room floor looked like it was still trashed from the day before. There is no where to pick up to-go orders. You have to wait in line with everyone else, and its always slow.

Literally so SLOW! They were convenient because they are down the street from my house but I will NEVER visit this location again. It makes no sense how slow and unprofessional they are. You’re better off going to Chicken Express, at least they acknowledge you pulling up to the window. It’s takes this location 30 mins just to take the order because they would rather take one order serve them then take the next cars order. Then you get to the window and they act like they don’t want to be there. My daughter loves to eat here but she’s 6 and she complains of how long it takes as well. They need to rehire and re-manage. It’s supposed to be FAST food and it takes all damn day for ONE MEAL!

How is it that when I ordered around 9:30pm for delivery and this golden chicken accepted the order with full knowledge of what I ordered. Come around 10:45 my delivery person called me and said there were no more of the main items I was trying to order, when keep in mind this was an hour and 15min after the fact. Why not decline the order? Instead of wasting my time and the delivery persons time.
