took 45 minutes for an order i was told was 15 minutes. Tried to upcharge me for a side when the menu says large fries and 1 side comes with the family meal. Also ordered chicken tender baskets, bread was molded as well. Had to point it out on the menu. To kick it all off when Something told me to checked my food the bread was molded. Waited another 20 minutes for the worker to find fresh bread and every loaf he brought to us was molded as well. At this piint our chicken is getting cold so I say whatever with the bread even tho we enjoy bread with our chicken and its comes with it so it’s technically paid for. If I wanted extra bread it would be an extra price l. Wasnt offered anything. The worker kept walking to the back laughing with the cook saying she’s still here. Im thinking they are coming up with a resolution, going to call the owner or something. Was advised couldnt get in touch with a manager. Asked if they could take my number down and have the manager call me. Been 2 weeks since, no cal, no apology, no trying to make it right. All to think the chicken wasnt molded but more molded bread was sitting under the chicken strip baskets when we got home. Horribel horrible ! Health andd safety hazard. so much money spent on moldy food no resolution offerred, apology or anything. a family meal of chicken and a tender basket.

Wanted to try this place out. Came in there was only one person in here waiting. It took 5 minutes to drive here. 20 minutes to get my food. I have a 5 minute drive back. My lunch is only 30 minutes. They offer a lunch special so you'd think they'd have food ready. Didn't even get to try my food. Definitely find a Hendersons or Brothers Chicken instead of this place.

Food was delicious. My order took a little longer than expected even tho I called it in but they made up for it with a slice of sweet potato pie which also was delicious!

Visited this establishment yesterday and I must say what an experience.young man at the register was very polite which Is why I gave 4 stars for service.with that being said overall food was perfectly cooked but lacked flavor tremendously. U would think with the pricing of the menu and description of Cajun flavor you would be in for flavor town. However the ball was dropped and based on true reviews it describes the experience.chicken lacks flavor throughout they simply only season skin I'm not sure if this is lack of knowledge or simply just pushing products. I'm not one to bash black owned businesses whoever standards must be met. I hope the owner really revamp items and pricing and truly consider reviews.simply put offering refunds and meal replacements doesn't fix the issue. Save yourself travel time and money.

Chicken was not seasoned period, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I knew it was fried perfect but not seasoned at all

New to Mesquite and glad we found this place. We’ve only ordered to go. The chicken is delicious! Such flavor and juicy. Now we order every time we have family over. The restaurant itself is not that inviting to dine in. But the food is always hot and ready when we pick up!

I came here when they first opened the mesquite location and the service was terrible. The cashier was rude and the food was not freshly made! I decided to give them another try and clearly nothing has changed with the customer service. I called to place a pick up order and there was attitude from the time she answered the call. I went ahead and ordered anyway. Asked for the total and she gave me a partial total and huffed and puffed when I asked AGAIN for the entire total and rudely gave it to me the second time as if I was asking for too much. I never even went to pick up the order because I will not spend my money at any establishment with poor customer service. Won’t be back to find out if the food is better!

I was slightly disappointed with the doneness of the pork chops.

So this is my spot yall and it hit every time and I mean hit. If you tired of Hendersons on Bruton and masters come to Kyra’s on 1515 E Kearney glad I found this spot. Some of the best catfish is cooked inside of this place and I love the people very nice and get your food right every time.

Atmosphere was Quiet not much for music or a TV customers. One of the monitors for the menu was out i had to go online to pick what I wanted and make sure they still sold it as a food item or meal.

Fries are ok seasoning salt doesn't have much salt which doesn't taste great HOT LINK BASKET the bbq sauce is good so im glad for that.

PORK CHOPS (2), they didn't disappoint but more for seasoning or Cajun version would've been banging.

I just wanted to share my experience from my recent visit. The food was great! Everything was made fresh right after I ordered it, and the seasoning was perfect. It truly enhanced the flavors and made for a delightful meal. Looking forward to my next visit!
