3.8 deserves a 4 though with service. Let's face it Mexican Buffet is hard to find. Use to be a staple growing up. They even bring you your refilled plates, very thorough. Check around the Dallas area for other locations..
Pancho's Mexican Buffet is definitely a place to go for the nostalgia. The food isn't like super amazing, there are some items that were a lot better than others, especially the Chile rellenos, those never disappoint! Enchiladas were dry and didn't seem like they cooked long enough. Sopapillas are still pretty good, they don't have real honey, it's like a honey flavored syrup. Visited for my husband's birthday. Was just me, my husband and my Mom. Food was amaaaazing! Wish there were more around. I dont eat meat but was able to substitute with beans just fine. I make some exceptions but NO meat! Definitely cheese!
